Patio with garden furniture. 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Not suitable for wheelchair users.. Christine Cottage is perfect as a base for visiting the North York Moors National Park, the Yorkshire Wolds and the beautiful east coast. Renovated to a good standard yet retaining lots of original features, the cottage provides comfortable accommodation with a bath/shower room for every bedroom making this a great choice for couples as well as families.

    The cottage is tucked away in a quiet courtyard near the church in Flamborough, with the owner living just around the corner. This detached property is centrally located for the shops, bars and restaurants with the beach in walking distance. Flamborough Head lies between Bridlington and Filey and is a bird watchers paradise. Every year birds travel in their thousands to Flamborough and you will see the interesting array of seabirds that cling to the chalk cliffs. People travel from all over the world to see the wonderful puffins and the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is the best place to get a good view, as they provide viewing platforms along the cliff side. Flamborough is a traditional fishing village and although some fishing still take place, it now relies on tourism. A lovely walk along the cliff tops brings you to Danes Dyke, a fantastic nature reserve.

    The bustling harbour of Bridlington is only a 10-minute drive away and is still a busy fishing harbour. This traditional seaside resort offers donkey rides, a pirate ship and of course sandcastles and candy floss. Beach ¾ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

Christine Cottage is situated in a lovely, quiet part of Flamborough but within easy walking distance of the Village. It is well equipped and on a very cold weekend was very cosy and warm. There was plenty of room for the six adults in our group and we all enjoyed staying in such a great place.

Beautiful cottage will be back. Well worth staying here.There was a couple of niggles though, DID NOT SPOIL OUR STAY.Could do with a poker etc for the wood burner.Towels are a bit small for a man of my girth!All in all kitchen was quite well equipped.We had a great time relaxing here, which was greatly needed and came away refreshed and recharged. Thank you Craig for letting my family and I stay at your cottage.

Just back from a three night stay.

Just back from a three night stay. Christine Cottage is a modern, spacious, clean and homely cottage. The welcome basket was a lovely thought and the overall location is perfect for the local amenities and the walks to South & North Landing Bay, the Lighthouse and Thornwick Bay. Fantastic meal at The Seabird Inn and great local chip shop. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to return again in the summer. Well worth a visit.

Well worth a visit. Lovely cottage, considerate host. Even put up a Christmas tree for us, a lovely touch. A suggestion to consider is a communal outside tap to wash muddy boots and dogs paws before going back into the property. Thinking of booking for a summer/autumn break.

The cottage was lovely but the living room needed at least another chair (even better, a two seater sofa) for 6 adults to be able to relax in comfort. There is plenty of space for this and it would make a massive difference. Little things need sorting - a larger rubbish bin and a 4 slice toaster in the kitchen - and shelving next to the bath upstairs as there is nowhere to place soap or shampoo etc when in the roll top bath! Other than that a fabulous holiday cottage.

Christine cottage is very welcoming, comfortable and clean with great layout and in a great location for the village and the beach at south landing (10 minutes walk to either) the welcome pack of bread,milk,coffee etc was a great touch plus the owner on hand to welcome you and answer any questions you might have, we would definitely consider staying there again and probably will overall a 10/10 from us
