Our renovated downtown garden home is where historic charm meets comfort. Tucked away, Sweet Caroline is our most private retreat in the garden community yet is still steps to Main Street and everything Downtown! Our guests look out from their fully furnished porch onto a shared pavilion that offers more outdoor dining under rooftop, a complete grill set up with a red egg, and a large fire pit to gather around afterwards. The fenced backyard has a deluxe swingset/playset.
Sweet Caroline welcomes our guests inside where they find a fresh and pretty bathroom with a super tub and shower, a master bedroom and guest room with a new king mattress and a sofa that converts to a double in the living room! Each bed is dressed in premiere linens to offer our guests a great nights sleep. The hdtv is a smart tv with strong internet connectivity for access to all of your favorite apps. For music, you have a blue tooth stereo. Enjoy your coffee and breakfast on the large front porch or the back patio while watching the white squirrels chase each other through our many gardens.
Pet Policy: Pets Must Be Pre-approved Before Reservation!
There is a charge of $80 per dog. We are pet lovers and find a balance between welcoming our furry friends while ensuring that all of our future guests can enjoy a pretty, clean home. We will consider on a case by case basis:
1 adult dog that is not aggressive
Must be crated when left unsupervised and at night during sleep.
Guest provides dog bedding and feeding/water bowls.
Guest agrees that their dog is not allowed on furniture and beds.
May not be left in the yard unattended.
Outside must be on a leash.
Message us regarding a reservation that includes your pooch.
The Neighborhood Overview
South Oaklawn Avenue is a lovely, historic street that meets Main Street in Downtown Brevard. Walkers, runners and bikers all take advantage of our pretty area. The city sidewalk runs in front of our community. The Brevard Bike Path that passes by Oskar Blues Brewery and ends at the Pisgah Forest is but 2 blocks away. Brevard Music Center, a jewel of our beautiful city, is less than a mile away. Many patrons, parents of students, and even staff make their home with us for a brief period during the music season.
When you stay with us you are only steps to Main and establishments such as Wild Morel, the Blue Ridge Bakery, the Co-Ed movie theater, coffee shops, bakeries, barber shops, shopping, casual and fine dining, and music venues. Our city offices and library are but a short walk.
Walk, run, bike, or drive to all that downtown has to offer!
Check In and Check Out and Minimum Length of Stay
Check In is anytime between 4 and 9 pm. Check Out is before 11 am. If you desire an early check-in or late check-out, please ask! If we can accommodate you we will. If you need to stay only one night, send me a message. I will consider the reservation if we can!

Collectively we can accommodate 13 guests in 6 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Each home has 2 car parking, private yards, outdoor dining, and all of the amenities and special touches for which we are known. There is a gathering place with a pavilion, large fire pit, and grill set up surrounded by gardens.

Prior to your arrival we are happy to answer questions and provide information for your upcoming trip. Upon both arrival and departure, please message through this platform or text me, Laura Oxman. Should any concern arise, please contact us immediately so that we can resolve it for you. Our goal is to provide a Premiere Brevard stay!
Getting Around
A car is strongly recommended for enjoying our beautiful mountain paths and waterfalls, as well as other attractions outside of Downtown Brevard. Once you arrive however, you can park your car and walk to anything downtown as well as the Lumberyard Arts and Music District on King Street. Ride your bike on our bike paths that begins close to home. Drive or bike to the Brevard Music Center and Bracken Mountain (both .9 mile). The Pisgah and DuPont Forests, Oskar Blues Brewery, the Blue Ridge Parkway and other attractions are but a short drive away.
Brevard is the land of 250 waterfalls and amazing music. It is a special city surrounded by authentic cuisine, inspired art, friendly people, outdoor adventures, mountain splendor, and so much more. No parking downtown? No problem for our Guests. Is it raining - no problem! Put on a poncho and head downtown. Come stay with us!
