3 story property located off Hwy 276 at Connestee Falls East Fork Gate, 10 miles between Caesars Head State Park and Historic Downtown Brevard. Elevation at 3200 ft with 2 decks connected by stairs and walkway, 2 covered patios and 1 outside patio. Conveniently located near many hiking trails, whitewater rafting, entertainment and shopping venues, and Brevard College / Brevard Music Festivals.

Steep driveway - strongly recommend 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle for access.

The views from the house are amazing! Great to sit out on the deck and watch beautiful sunsets. The location is convenient to everything in and near Brevard. 4 wheel drive vehicles are a must, not just a suggestion.

Mountain top escape

When renting home properties, there are 3 most important things to me, cleanliness, kitchen accutrements and pillows/beds. Twin Peaks is exceptionally clean, the kitchen is well outfitted and the beds comfy. More pillows would be great. We enjoyed the property very much. We didn't enjoy being so far away from town. We also didn't like the lack of cell service. No fault of the property but it caused problems trying to communicate with our group. As everyone has mentioned, all wheel or 4 wheel drive is a necessity

Heaven

This property is a 11 out 10. So quiet and secluded. The house was clean and well equipped. Lots of wild life, spectacular Mountain View’s and lots of space for everyone. Absolutely need all wheel or 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. Thank you Claudia!!

Very nice mountain house, great views, very roomy, fully equipped- highly recommend and bring 4 wheel drive to get to the house. Topside view well worth it.

Amazing 360 views of mountains, peaceful comfort

Perfect house for family gatherings, lots of room to be comfortable inside and outside, well equipped, gorgeous Mountain View’s. Claudia was gracious and responsive. Have stayed there twice and hope to again !

Best Rental and Host Ever

Best rental yet!!! Everything you need is in this house. The host did the right thing setting up this house. The kitchen is stocked perfectly! I highly recommend renting this house or the one bedroom house on the property. You will not be disappointed.

Week at Twin Peaks

Phenomenal views from the house decks. So very nice to eat meals on the deck either first thing in the AM or as the sun was setting. Claudia was great, answering any questions we had. The house was even better than the pictures showed. Just a great place to come back too after a day of hiking to waterfall, whitewater rafting, or Mt. biking!!!

Family summer vacation

My husband and I vacation with my daughters family which included three grandchildren. It was such an enjoyable and memorable time. Brevard is a quaint beautiful town and its proximity to Pisgah national forest allowed for many activities. We did not have one single boring day. The house was extremely comfortable, very neat and conveniently located with beautiful views. There is a steep incline to the house but if you have the right vehicle it isn’t a problem.

Amazing views!

4WD/AWD a must to get to house even before getting to driveway, thankful that is in description! Home was incredibly comfortable for our 5 adult kids, each couple had their own floor of house + dogs. Views are spectacular from both sides of home! Thankful for my able-bodied husband who was able to move a tree to side of road that fell on way to house. It's important to realize that house is remote, but incredibly worth experiencing the beauty of Transylvania County! We couldn't get enough of the waterfalls, downtown Brevard, Ashville & icecream @ Dolly's. Grilled some meals at house as well. Shout out to "Twin Peaks" for an awesome stay!

Close to everything, absolutely most beautiful view! Home is amazing. Found a hole in the wall restaurant, Th Back Porch….five stars to them as well! Amazing food! Thanks Leland and Claudia for sharing your home! You were incredibly pleasant to meet and so helpful.

Mountaintop family oasis

Our family spent a delightful Thanksgiving week at this spacious lodge. The house boasts amazing views and 3 floors with excellent bedrooms and superb bathrooms. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, played games on the wraparound porches, and enjoyed the many televisions and additional comforts. It boasts the biggest shower we have ever seen! (4 wheel drive not optional!)

Beautiful Views

We really enjoyed our stay. The driveway is as steep as noted, but we had no issues in our 4WD vehicle. The house was exactly as described. We went with our 4 adult children (and our dogs) and enjoyed having the two separate common areas. The house was spacious and well appointed. The views from the porches are gorgeous!

We would definitely rent again!

This is a beautiful home with amazing views of the mountains. Claudia is a wonderful host and very attentive to anything you may need. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of stairs....I do not recommend it for small children or older adults who have a hard time with stairs. Everything about the driveway is true.....but the views are worth it!

Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our stay. The house is quiet and comfortable, Claudia is easy to work with and the views are beautiful. Even with the July heat, we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the north deck. We loved watching sunrises, sunsets, and the night sky. We hiked, fished, went to the Biltmore House, and toured Brevard. It is a great location and wonderful home. We hope to return and have already recommended it to friends.

Magical Mountain Stay

Hands down, this is an amazing property. The views are spectacular, and the location is so convenient to a wide range of activities. The entire family commented the day after we returned from the trip that they wished they were back, and I don't think that's ever happened before! The mountain lodge was our home base for a variety of activities, including hiking, waterfall visits, hanging out river-side, shopping, visiting brew-pubs, and eating out. It is 10-15 minutes drive from Brevard, where there are great shops, restaurants, and cultural activities. Pisgah National Forest is just north of Brevard and has amazing fly fishing, hiking, and waterfalls. Reece Place Falls is a couple of miles down East Fork Road, and Gorges State Park outside Sapphire is about as wild as it gets. The house is well provisioned. We had a family member cook us a four-star restaurant quality, six-course meal in the kitchen with space for everyone, We had 4WD and AWD vehicles and both got up the driveway just fine. We didn't try the other car, but parking spaces were fine at the bottom of the hill. Can't recommend enough!

Wonderful week!

Absolutely love this place! Great property, spacious, bright and very comfortable. The views are beautiful, staying here was both relaxing and fun. There was great trail biking for our boys in Dupont Forest along with waterfalls and hiking, all of which is right on your doorstep. We also enjoyed going further afield to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I went horseback riding at Pisgah Forest Stables with my daughter and we both had a great time, reasonable price and very friendly. Brevard is great for ice creams and wondering around, lovely restaurants. Claudia is a wonderful host and very helpful, had a lovelyl week and will miss the mountain views!!

Low key New Years

This home was outfitted well our group of 8 adults. We had rainy weather so stayed in and cooked a lot and the kitchen was well stocked, rooms were spacious and dining room table sat our group so we were pleased. The climb to the house was something and we were glad we had our 4 WD vehicles but had no trouble. Claudia and Co. were great hosts!

Exceeded Our Expectations

Upon arriving at Twin Peaks on Bow Mountain we immediately in awe of the near 360 degree views from the property which basically sits on top of its very own peak. The lot was huge and allowed us to enjoy ourselves in nature without even leaving- this was an extra bonus because it rained the majority of our stay- The house is very close to DuPont which is one of our favorite places- lots of trails and beautiful lakes. The house is also located near Cedar Mountian- this small "town" has a great farm stand and grocery called "whistle stop". we did much of our shopping here- wine and beer is also available here. Great local and organic items. We also enjoyed visiting the Canteen in cedar mountian which has a nice bier garden and was a great place to unwind with our pups after a day on the trails- We have stayed in Brevard 6x before - but this property was literally the "top" of them all- we plan on coming back in the summer!
