The Cottage on Main

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Our cottage is less than five minutes away from our famous and delicious Blue Bell Creamery. It is walking distance to Downtown Brenham. With the close proximity to downtown and location on Main Street, some traffic noise may be expected.

The space
Our home was recently renovated having taken old features to create a newly unique look. Original hardwood floors. Old shiplap from home was used in dining room and bathroom creating a really neat, meaningful look. Bertazzoni appliances for a great cooking experience. Walk-in closets. Bath has marble flooring, marble/tile rain shower with bench. Fenced backyard with matured trees.

Walking distance from Downtown Brenham where you can finds shops, restaurants and local festivities.

Room for improvements…yard was awful with knee high weeds. Back door lock not working was inconvenient since it was next to where you park. The alarm going off was scary. If we would have been told ahead of time that it does that then we wouldn’t have gotten scared. Or better yet, change the lock!

My husband and I had a marvelous time in and around Brenham. The cottage was darling with special touches in decor. The hosts were easier accessible. The Italian lunches across the street were spectacular.The museum downtown had unique exhibits.All in all, we highly recommend staying at the cottage on Main!

Brenham Stay

This was the perfect spot for a girls weekend! Short walk to local restaurants, shops and wine bars. We enjoyed locating all of the murals. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed.

Great stay for friends in Brenham

Great location easy walk ability to downtown. House was clean and spacious. We had two guests, beds were queen sized so 4 could fit comfortably.Hosts were great and responsive!

Sweet house on Main

I just visited Brenham for a twostay at the house on East Main. You can walk to all the shops and historic Brenham. I was provided with all the information I needed for a great get away for me. It appears to be recently updated and everything went perfectly. I would recommend this for a couple or 2 friends. The bathroom and two bedrooms are separated by the bathroom. Super clean.

Roundtop weekend

The cottage has an updated and tastefully done renovation throughout. We enjoyed the house and its amenities. The location cannot be beat for accessibility to restaurants and shopping. It is perfect for trips to Roundtop and surrounding areas.

Swirl weekend in Brenham

Enjoyed a relaxing stay and property was perfectly spotless and welcoming. Kitchen is not a full setup if you plan to cook so check out home prior to buying groceries. Italian restaurant is a must!

Fun girl’s weekend

We rented this for a girls weekend and enjoyed it very much! It was clean and very comfortable for 4 of us. There’s not much of a view from the front porch but we were out shopping and eating most of the time. There’s a wonderful Italian restaurant across the street and it’s very close to all the downtown shops. Great rental!

Antiquing Weekend

This cottage was so charming, cozy and clean, it’s perfect set up. Perfect location for restaurants, stores and little towns all around Brenham. I want to make note if you read previous reviews about lack of coffee makers and coffee, host took care of it. They created a small coffee bar, create coffee anyway you like it, K-cups, pot of cofffee or instant.

Clean and cozy

We had a wonderful girls getaway at this home! Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped to cook breakfast each morning and home was within walking distance of downtown shopping and restaurants.
