The accommodations were perfect - beautiful rural area, large, elegant bedroom, comfy living room for reading or watching movies, gorgeous bathroom, and a nicely appointed kitchen and dining area. Our host was easy to communicate with and treated us to a "fresh from the oven" loaf of sourdough bread - yummy!

we so enjoyed our stay at gathering grains! while only minutes from the heart of brenham, the restored barn - now a lovely and well-appointed space - was the quietest and most peaceful place we have ever stayed. dianne was very responsive with all of our questions. thanks so much for a wonderful getaway!

This place is really nice, clean & comfortable. The outdoor setting is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening beverages sitting outside. It’s also very close to town and I would definitely choose to stay here again if ever in the area.

As good or better than home

We have always said that a place needs to be as good or better than home. We will definitely stay here again if we are visiting the area. It’s well appointed, quiet, and close to town.
