Your job: Find a great ski-in/ski-out condo with room for up to eight guests and superb mountain views. Well, this place fits the bill! It’s less than 50 yards from Breck’s Lower Lehman Run, Quicksilver Superchair and ski school — and it’s strolling distance from all the shops and restaurants on Breck’s historic Main Street. Throw in pool/hot tub access, and your group will thank you for finding it!

Trails End Skyview Penthouse Condo is a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom penthouse condo that’s perfect for groups of up to 8. In the living area, there’s a gas fireplace and a large flat-screen TV; it’s the perfect place to relax and share stories about the day’s Rocky Mountain adventures. You can also step out on the private balcony to fully take in the mountain views. The kitchen feature granite counters and all the gear you’ll need to whip up everything from snacks to holiday meals. There’s room for 10 at the dining table plus four more at the counter.

You’ll also enjoy the shared hot tub and access to the Upper Village Pool and hot tubs, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the home. And like all Summit Mountain Rental properties, we supply all linens and basic toiletries, and each property is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. You’ll also sleep well knowing our helpful staff is on call 24-hours a day so your vacation can be as hassle free as possible.

Location is perfect and walking distance to main street. Afew hiccups dueing our stay outside of rental's control (lobby construction, multiple power outages) but office was alwaya very responsive to help make our stay comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Great location, under construction

We had plenty of room for 6 adults. The check in process was very simple. The location is very convenient to town. The penthouse was comfortable and we enjoyed that the kitchen had everything we needed to use to cook a meal. The negative right now, 8/25, the bottom floor is under construction. If you want access to the pool and spa and a lobby, it is not there. This was a bummer to us as we were counting on using these things this summer as it was advertised with the Penthouse. We did not know it was under construction until a week out. The property manager should of let us know sooner so that we could find another place. You could walk across the street for use of a pool, but that is not something we wanted to do. Also, toilet upstairs did not flush correctly and there was a leak under the sink in the bottom bathroom. The leak was fixed, but the toilet never did flush right. If these issues are resolved, we would stay there again. There are plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and there was room to sit on the balcony and even upstairs had a small sitting area.

Lovely home!

The condo was lovely, and we thank the owners for sharing it. The checkin was a disaster. The front door code for the building did not work for us, and for others we saw arriving that week, stuck outside the front door. Our young ones desperately needed the bathroom after their drive, but when another family let us in the building, the unit code also did not work. The management group did not tell us there was a restroom we could use by the hot tub, but after a half hour of contacts with management another couple showed us where it was. Manager Chris finally arrived to let us into the unit, helpful and apologetic. We saw a door repair truck there a couple of days later so hopefully no problems for U-turn visitors. Base 9 was closed a few days earlier, but the free shuttle to the free gondola was great for accessing base 8. Skiing and snowboarding Breckenridge was phenomenal! Fantastic spring conditions and a foot of fresh powder for our final days. We saw moose and a badger from the gondola. Love that the unit's table seats 10. Beautiful views from the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing breakfasts. Apres ski hot tub soaks were divine. Breck is a great town - walked to wonderful restaurants every night. It was a wonderful return visit for us.

Golf trip with friends

Easy access to slopes

Overall it was a good place to stay. It was a slight inconvenience to get the key at a place off property but it wasn't far away so it's acceptable. I think it would be nicer to have a lock box on property. The place itself was really nice and it is in a great location- easy access to slopes and restaurants/shops. There are some minor issues that should be addressed. A window in one room was broken so it was always open a few inches. It made the room quite cold, but I like to sleep in a chilly room so it was fine for me. Another room didn't have curtains on 1/2 the window. That was not as fine for my teen daughter. The fridge also had issues. It froze all of our food. There were plenty of spices and basics stocked which was very nice. There were plenty of linens (I did not see pool towels for use at the hot tub) and the ski storage was very convenient. My biggest issue was road noise for the 2 rooms facing the street. Every night sometime between 1 and 3 there was someone being extremely loud out outside. That is not something I would let affect my review of the place, but it certainly affected my enjoyment of the stay. The upstairs bedrooms were very quiet but too hot for me to sleep there. Overall I would recommend the place given the location and amount of space in the unit. With a few fixes it would be much better.

Slope Side At It’s Best

Perfect location. From front door to Quicksilver chair, it’s a 3 minute walk. From front door to downtown, it’s a 5 minute walk. Parking is easy and the condo was perfect size for 7 friends. Also, very nice knives in the kitchen.

Great location

Great location as downtown Breckenridge is walkable from the property. Beautiful views from the balcony. The 2 bedrooms upstairs did not have exterior windows which made them get hot at night. It was nice there was a fan for each room. The condo was clean and there are laundry facilities available in the building.

Great location - needs some upgrades

the location can't be beat. Overall, the space and the layout and furnishings are good. We had a very enjoyable week. Our biggest issue was the kitchen. They have installed the wrong size refrigerator which blocks the doors to the wall cabinets so there is a shortage of storage space. The stove is ancient and the exhaust face vents back into the room instead of outside so the cooking odors and very overwhelming. The vent fans in the bathrooms are the cheap ones that sound like an airplane taking off. Given the cost of the rental,I think they could spend a few bucks and do some improvements.
