Mountain Thunder Lodge is a beautiful wooded complex that is located in the heart of Breckenridge. This ski-in/gondola out development is situated within walking distance to the Breckenridge Gondola Station and Main Street Breckenridge. A lovely two bedroom/two bath unit that overlooks the Skyway-Skiway Run and delivers skiers into town and the gondola area.

LOCATION – Walk to town and ski to your door, you cannot beat this location in Breckenridge! Mountain Thunder Lodge sits off Park Ave. within walking distance to the Breckenridge Station Gondola and Main St. Just outside of the complex is the Skyway-Skiway Run that allows skiers to ski home at the end of the day (The gondola is closed May - Mid June). Complimentary resort shuttle is also available to take guests to the mountain or anywhere in town.

We enjoyed our stay, the condo was spacious, the management team was responsive to the issues we had during our stay. We were able to walk to town or take the free shittle. Unfortunately, we discovered a large area in the bathroom covered in mold causing allergic reaction. The key to the garage stopped working and wehad to wait for a replacement key to be delivered by the management company, which came within 30 minutes. The staff onsite was not able to help.The hot tub was also shut down for maintenance while we were there, but there is another 2 hot tubs across the street. wait

We truly enjoyed the property!We would rent it again for sure if the Master bath shower was redone. The shower has mold and the shower door is not installed correctly.Other than that we love it!

My sister and I had a wonderful stay! The condo is located in a convenient walk to downtown and to the Breckenridge Station. It was well equipped and had all we needed. The only drawback was we had to pick up and drop off keys at a separate location. If you’re not renting a car it is inconvenient. Would rent at the location again, we’re already talking about going back.

Love Mountain Thunder. Very pretty area and convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. Appreciate the available shuttle too. Condo was great. We like the layout and if another couple had stayed plenty comfy for all. Showing a bit of age/wear and tear but nothing to complain about.

A few things that were a surprise for us was having every balcony inaccessible due to resurfacing and the hot tubs being completely torn out and being rebuilt. We were looking forward to using both and rented that specific suite just for that purpose. Other than those two things everything else was great. Very clean room, perfect location for downtown access and walking distance to everything. Thank you

This was a great location for our ski vacation to Breckenridge (2 x people). Condo is in good shape and stocked with essentials to cook your own meals. Short walk (5-10 min in ski boots) from condo building to Breckenridge North Gondola Lot parking area. From there it's easy gondola access to slopes. The ski locker on the 1st floor was nice for ski and pole storage. Location is close to Breckenridge's main street (lots of restaurants and shopping). We walked to dinner 2 x nights. Communications with the property management company, Pinnacle, were excellent. They're good at using texts to check in and confirm everything's going ok. Be sure to read your text from Pinnacle regarding pick up of your check in package (keys to get in ... drop box location in Frisco, CO ... about 9 mi / 16 min from condo). Again, Pinnacle did a great job with their communications which made our entire trip (check in, our stay and check out) easy. This was a great place to stay. We'd book again. Thank you!

This condo was a good size for two couples to share. The bedroom with the bunk bed was a little cramped, and even though there is a TV in that room, you can't see it from either the top or bottom bed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and glassware. The ski-in situation is great and the ski lockers are super convenient. The walk to the gondola is a bit of a workout, but not a bad way to start the day.

We enjoyed our stay! Great location and nice condo! Short walk to ski and ski back home right to the back door. My only suggestion is to add a sectional so that everyone can have a place to sit in the living room. I would rent this condo again!

We loved this spot. Super close to main street, clean, spacious - it was me, husband & 2 kids age group 5-12. Perfect for our week long end of summer colorado trip. THe only complaint was water pressure in the showers - WAY low.

Nice place overall but has some quirks. The convenient location near the gondola and town of Breckenridge are the highlights. You could theoretically not have a car and just walk around, EXCEPT that Pinnacle management has you pick up and drop off the keys in Frisco (15 minutes away). If we’d taken a van shuttle to get there or back to the airport that would be a massive inconvenience. I don’t recall that key pickup location being mentioned in the listing and was only communicated via text on the day of check in. Minor condo quirks: the queen bunk bed room only has one lamp which makes it hard to see anything and feels like a cheap build decision. The building is hot. We had the thermostat off and didn’t use the fireplace, yet we had to sleep with the windows open because otherwise it was 70+ deg F constantly.

Good location between Main Street and the base of peak 8. Easy to get to either place. Size and layout of unit was perfect for our family of 4, and kitchen had everything we needed. Heated pool and the hot tubs were used everyday by our family.

Overall great property, and fantastic location. You can ski right to the back door of the Mountain Thunder Lodge. You can also walk through the tunnel at the end of the run to cross easily to Main St. We didn't drive our car once in 5 days. I was a little concerned that this unit looks out right over the hot tub but it was never loud, in fact this is one of the quietest condos I have ever stayed in. More than enough space for 3 of us. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen. Excellent fireplace. My only complaint is that when we arrived one of the lamps in the bedroom didn't have a lampshade and upon closer inspection, the whole lamp was broken. I found the broken lampshade in the closet. I emailed the property manager and they said they'd fix it but they never did. We were there 5 days and never heard back. It was okay, just a bit dark in the master bedroom with only 1 lamp. Overall a great stay. Bonus: the gals at the front desk were very helpful with restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a great getaway for my friends and me. The place was clean, cozy and in a very convenient location (walking distance to the peak 7 & 8 gondola as well as downtown restaurants & shops). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 10/10.
