Parking Information:
For a smooth and stress-free stay, please follow all posted signs and parking regulations in Breckenridge, as enforcement is strict. If you need additional parking, the Town of Breckenridge offers paid overnight options in two convenient locations: 1) south of town at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers.

Colorado Traction Law:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. We are unable to offer refunds for vehicles that get stuck or require towing, and unfortunately, we cannot assist with towing or vehicle recovery. Additionally, some properties may require 4WD or AWD even during non-winter months due to uneven terrain and dirt roads. Amazing property

Very happy with this property. Bedrooms/bathrooms were perfect for our guest. Everyone had their own space. Kitchen was well stocked and the view was fantastic. Close to town, restaurants and attractions. Very quiet and peaceful setting.

Incredible Views

We searched high and low for a property that could fit 3 adult couples needing a queen or larger bed for each and private bathrooms. This house fit the bill perfectly. Each couple had their own floor. It was so comfortable. But what is amazing is the VIEW! Right out the picture window, you can see all the slopes. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the large deck. I would Definitely recommend!!!

Best views ever!

We bring our kids and grandkids every year. This house had some of the best views ever!! Enjoyed the front deck with hot tub and still the view!! There was a little construction going on next door but nothing major. Saw chipmunks and red foxes. Close and easy trip to town and grocery store. Would definitely go back to this house!

Family Trip

The layout of the home was perfect for our family. We did have trouble with the oven on the last night - the only time we used it. An element appeared to be out. The dishwasher also did not clean well. Left a residue of soap film. It seemed to get worse as the days went by (which was the weekend and couldn’t call the office). We had a great time and enjoyed the hot tub and deck a lot.

Large spacious cabin in a great location with a gorgeous view.

Cabin has a great view and easy access to town. Bedrooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Kitchen is average size with most of the accessories in place, even a garlic mincer and lemon squeezer! Needs a few more medium/salad bowl size serving bowls (only one). Plenty of extra large bowls/pots/pans. Nice supply of spices, oil, sugar. We left a lighter for the fire place as there were no matches/lighter. Hot tub was a nice add and finding sleds to take with us to Frisco was great! A couple issues: There is construction going on across the street with a new home being built. Most days we were out skiing, so it didn’t bother us too much. If you like to stay home, just be aware there will be some noise. The view, while spectacular, does have utility poles running though it. Just think you shouldn’t be surprised by that like we were. Owners car is parked in the tight two car garage making it difficult to load and unload with a large SUV/suburban. Most of the time, there was no way for passengers to get in until the SUV was backed up into the driveway. Cleanliness— regular sheets, towels, floors, countertops and bathrooms were cleaned well. However, this house needs rugs washed, carpets cleaned and blankets washed with extra freshener. I washed two blankets and they still smelled musty. Furniture could use some febreeze, too. It just smells old and musty. Dishwasher cannot be loaded full. We had some dishes with a grainy film on them when we arrived, so I rinsed most of the dishes as we used them. Some of our loads were fine, others had powder on them when we took them out. Just not a great dishwasher. Forced heat - it is on a “nest” timer controlled by management or the owner. Even when we dropped the temperature to something more comfortable, the forced heat came on on regular intervals during the night making the bedrooms too hot many nights. We are from Florida and found ourselves sleeping on top of the sheets some nights. It would be nice if the nest range could be set a little wider so people who don’t want that much heat, don’t have to have it on.

Nice, Well equipped, convenient

Wonderful place and view. Large garage worked well. Many nice touches throughout. We were a group of 50+ year men so space and things like queen size bunk beds worked well. Nice, well equipped kitchen. Location close to resort, rentals, grocery store, etc. would work well for families because it offers big common areas as well as space when you need down time.

AMAZING VIEWS!!!!

The views were amazing. To sit and watch the sun come up was one of the highlights of staying in the home. The hot tub was great to have, as well as the large garage. The dishwasher does not clean the dishes, so be aware you will be doing dishes, and the kitchen is minimally stocked with dishes. The house is also very convenient to town and the mountain.

Family Vacation

This outing was planned as a family vacation. The Barton Cabin was great, it accommodated us with no problem. View of the mountains was spectacular. We were able to watch the New Years Eve torch run and fireworks from the balcony. Easy access to town and local attractions. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend the Barton Cabin for you next Breckenridge adventure.

Quiet, Convenient, Comfortable

We felt incredibly comfortable during our stay with 8 adults, a toddler, and a 6 month old. The view was incredible and the drive to town was extremely convenient. The cabin felt secluded just enough to have the quietness we sought -- but also super convenient for our multiple grocery store runs :) The amenities were as described and we utilized the hot tub almost every night and on a couple chilly mornings. Earlier reviews mentioned how the deck was worn and splintered - NOPE, it's been completely redone with a composite deck! Two very minor issues, one probably not even worth mentioning but it may be helpful: 1) The grill had 2 burners out, but we called the next morning and it was resolved immediately - a testament to their commit to service & experience. 2) The washer was a little finicky. We used it twice, 1st use was smooth sailing, but on the 2nd use it took some troubleshooting; a little hard to explain. We tossed it up to user error so we didn't call or anything since it was our last night. Check out was super simple (run dish washer, towels down to washer, take our trash, lock windows/doors) Super easy. We would definitely stay again! Our 3.5 year toddler loved seeing all the poppy's and chipmunks. We even saw the fox the first night! So cool. Thanks for letting us stay at this beautiful home - we an incredible family vacation!
