After passing under the gatepost and winding up the private driveway, you'll find this lovely 4-bedroom, 4-bath home with views that overlook the entire Tenmile Range. Named after the mining claim on which it is built, St. James Place is perfect for families looking for a true mountain getaway while offering plenty of activity.



The Space:

Sleeping: Bedroom 1: king size bed - attached full size bath (sleeps 2); Bedroom 2: queen size bed - attached full size bath (sleeps 2); Bedroom 3: queen size bed – attached full size bath (sleeps 2); Bedroom 4: bunk with queen size lower and twin upper – attached full size bath (sleeps 3); Additional sleeping: office/tv area with additional queen size pull out bed (sleeps 2).



The Neighborhood:

This home is privately located on 5 acres only 3.5 miles to Main Street Breckenridge on Baldy Mountain. Find the exclusion you are looking for while not sacrificing the proximity to the world class ski resort of Breckenridge (only a five-minute drive).



Getting Around:

A 4-wheel drive vehicle is required to rent this home during winter months!



Other Things to Note:

Cancellation Policy: Once the reservation is confirmed and the first portion of the payment has been made, those funds are non refundable. The remaining balance will be due thirty days before your arrival. Once the balance is paid, that portion is also non-refundable. If the ski area shuts down or a public health order prevents us from hosting you during your reserved time, you will be eligible for a full refund or will be able to reschedule. Staying with LiveBreck Property Management is simple. As a professional property manager, we strive to make staying with us as easy and hassle-free as staying in a hotel. Checking in and out is simple and someone is always available to provide assistance. Rest assured that you’ll arrive to a professionally cleaned and fully stocked home. We’re here to make your stay perfect!  Strictly animal-free due to allergies or other necessary circumstances. Exterior Security Cameras in place. Most properties have exterior cameras at entry points for security as well as to monitor compliance with pet/animal, party, and event restrictions.

Awesome Mountain Home

Wonderful home with spectacular views! Photos are accurate but can’t begin to show just how spruce this home is. We had a group of 7 and there was plenty of room. Kitchen is very well equipped for meals at home. Wine on the deck while watching the sun set was the perfect way to wind down the day. Highly recommend!

Loved the location up on Baldy mountain close the hiking trails and awesome views. Place was private in the mountains with large open space for family. Great views from the deck.

A lovely stay!

Our family had a wonderful, restful stay at this cabin! The views are absolutely incredible. The house feels so quiet and secluded since it has its own winding drive up away from the houses below. You are also a short drive from town, so it’s easy to go shop, eat, or grab a coffee. We cooked quite a bit, and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare and serve meals. We also had the added delight of seeing a moose hang around the house on our last couple of days there. We would definitely stay here again!

Great memories at high altitude

The St. James Place home was perfect for our group of friends. The views and privacy were spectacular, plenty of space and amenities to accommodate us and our mountain gear. We spent a few hours sledding one afternoon and enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Great start to the new year

With everything going on we enjoyed our getaway trip to Breckenridge and this house was icing on the cake. Beautiful house and property not far from downtown Breckenridge. The only thing I warn is if you’re not used to high elevation it will take some adjusting but we managed and still enjoyed the property. I would go back and highly recommend.

Summer Vacation

Saint James place is very nice. Great space for our group of 7. The master suite is huge. The other bedrooms were smaller than we anticipated. We brought trailers with side by sides. The parking for trailers wasn’t plentiful, but it is probably one of the only places you will find in Breckenridge that could accommodate more than one trailer. There is a fox that hangs out in the area that is very friendly. My kids enjoyed seeing him everyday. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend.

Amazing Stay

The pictures for the listing don’t do it justice. Has amazing views and is extremely family-friendly! Everything was extremely convenient during our stay and was the best place to stay for our snowboarding trip to Breck. House is secluded from the rest of the neighborhood which was awesome. Only about 10 mins from the base so we couldn’t have asked for a better location.

Wonderful House!!

Absolutely loved our stay. We had 3 couples and one baby and the space was perfect. The kitchen/family/dining area is open and large. Enough seating for everyone comfortably. We cooked some and had all the utensils/pots/pans we would need. Will definitely be staying there again. Make sure you have a 4Wheel Drive if you are going to stay there in the winter.

Seclusion with convenience

This house is nestled in a community just a stones throw from Breckenridge. While the houses you will see going up the mountain are side by side, this house is it’s own drive and is nearly secluded from the surrounding neighborhood. There is a house behind it, but barely noticeable through the woods. House was adequately equipped with basic kitchen supplies, tho if you need something beyond the normal spice rack, or condiments in general, be sure to grab those on your way up. As others have said, pictures I’ve seen online do little justice to this home. Great views from the living room and master. A hidden gem.

If I ever build my dream mountain home, I'd kindly ask to borrow the floor plans and designers for this place! Just gorgeous, and perfect space for our family gathering—big open are for kitchen/living room/dining room, deck with beautiful views, cozy beds. Easy ~7 minute drive to town, hikes nearby. Highly recommended!

Lovely Mountain Home

This property is amazing! It is the perfect place for a large family; four nice bedrooms with bathrooms. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had plenty of everything we needed for our stay (towels, cook ware, etc.). My family particularly enjoyed the hot tub and wildlife. The owners were wonderful to work with. We hope to return someday for another visit.

Beautiful mountain resort set in the majestic forests of Breckenridge.

Lovely property set among the natural forest. Gorgeous views of the mountains and yet close enough to all amenities and Breckenridge. Our hosts Fonda and J.T. Were exceptional and made our stay so comfy, and welcoming. We never went without and they checked on us frequently. Some of our family traveled from Puerto Rico and Boise Idaho to meet their Texas family ( us and a sister & her family too!) We enjoyed this upscale property and the Viking range was awesome to bake in. Property was clean and decorated beautifully. Our family gathering was wonderful!

Beautiful property! Private, comfortable, convenient, spacious and fantastic family group getaway!

Our two-family stay in June was wonderful and we would highly recommend staying in this spacious property with easy access to all that Breckenridge offers. Very well-managed with excellent and friendly communication and help from the host when needed. Check-in was smooth. Our two families (4 adults + 4 kids ranging from 4 to 10) had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed for family cooking inside or outside on the grill. The deck was very sunny during the day, and the hot tub on the deck was a great place to unwind and take in the wonderful mountain views and sunsets. Everyone appreciated having full bathrooms for each bedroom! Plenty of room for parking vehicles, and easy to get in and out of (at least during the Summer... can’t speak for Winter and snow!). Just about everything one might want from a Summer mountain getaway in Colorado! Go, and enjoy!

Grossly managed. Unclean and not worth half the money I paid.

Driveway wasn't plowed when we arrived and the place as a whole was dirty. Kitchen was filthy and way understocked on pots and pans and everyday items. The hot tub didn't work. Masterbath shower drain was loose and hot water heater was terrible. Ran out of hot water half thru showering most days. Master toilet stayed stopped up had to use plunger daily. Stove, and microwave were filthy when we arrived. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty with dried food stuck on them. Back door handle was messed up and hard to open and close. Couches were dirty and pillows on the beds were terrible looked and slept like they were 20 years old. My family and I travel to Breck at least once a year and most years twice always renting a large house this rental is the worst we have ever had I don't recommend at all. Poorly managed piece of property. Could be a really nice place if it was taken care of. I'm questioning VRBO now.

Beautiful Home

St. James Place is a perfect setting on Boreas Pass. This home is perfect for a group or families. Each bedroom has their own bathroom which is great, open kitchen, plenty of room for everyone to gather. Heated garage, hot tub, mud room for all your snow gear etc... Definitely would book it again for our annual trip.
