Picture this: You and your group relaxing around the fireplace, watching the snow fall, and bragging about your epic ski day. The only decision to make is: Do you stay in for a home-cooked meal or hop on the Breck Free Ride and head downtown to get some dinner? As you look at all the happy faces, you’ll know you made the right choice in a vacation rental!

Elk Ridge Imperial Townhome is a 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom luxurious home that’s perfect for up to 14 guests. It’s a perfect mixture of comfortable living space and enjoyable amenities, with lots of space for everyone to spread out and relax. This townhome is in a great location for skiing in the winter (only two blocks from the Snowflake Lift) and summer as well, with numerous beautiful mountain trails surrounding the property. You’re also just across the street from the Breck Free Ride stop, so getting to and from downtown is a breeze.

The living area has beautiful leather furniture, a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace, and a large flat-screen smart TV. Off the kitchen, there’s a family room area with another fireplace and smart TV, as well as a game/card table. And just look at that kitchen: huge marble waterfall counters, stainless-steel appliances (including a gas range) and all the gear you’ll need to whip up everything from après-ski snacks to memorable mountain meals. The kitchen table seats eight, and there’s room for eight at the counter.

Just outside, the upper deck has a table and chairs for outside dining and relaxing. And on the downstairs patio? Your own private hot tub, of course. Serviced between each guest stay so you know the water is always fresh and waiting for you to relax in after a long day of adventures. Also included in your stay at Elk Ridge is complimentary access to the off-site Upper Village Pool which has a large outdoor pool and multiple hot tubs (open seasonally).

There’s also a one-car garage (large enough for a standard SUV) and a designated outdoor parking space. Other amenities include an oversized washer and dryer, complimentary highspeed Wi-Fi, and smart TVs through out the home. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

Good ski location

Everything was great and clean for our stay, communication was quick and helpful. Snowflake lift is a 1 block walk from the house and pretty easy to get on and off the slopes. Our only complaint is the only access to the hot tub is outside one of the rooms that has a bunkbed(kids room) so not very accessible at certain times.

Breck Blast

We had a great family trip to Breckinridge and our Elk Ridge townhouse was perfect! Pictures on the listing were completely accurate. Looks like the townhouse was very recently remodeled. Eight adults spread out in the house and had plenty of room. Played cards, worked a puzzle, watched tv, cooked and had a blast. Snowflake chairlift half a block down across the street, minutes walk to South Main, brand new fridge, plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. Summit Rentals was very responsive to the one question we had. Only negative comments (and they were only slight) is that the beds were “hard” and took getting used to. They seem to all be new memory foam mattresses and just need time to soften up a bit. I will note that parking was a bit tight with a large SUV. Garage holds a small SUV, but the giant Grand Wagoneer rental car we had (for 7 people) was parked in the extra spot outside and with snow/ice on the ground and guests with a large truck staying in one of the units across the driveway it made for tight, tricky parking. Nothing prohibitive, but just be aware. Unit is 3 floors, so there are a number of stairs. No issue for our group, but could be for someone who doesn’t do stairs well. Overall we had a great time, loved the townhouse and would book the unit again without hesitation if we go to Breckinridge again.
