You will understand why this house is named 'Discovery Place' once you experience the breathtaking views from this charming mountain hideaway. Located on Famous Peak 7 a little over
a mile away from the base of Peak 7 at Breckenridge Ski Area.

Here you will experience some of the best skiing Colorado has to offer in every ability category. Discovery Place is one of a kind and is waiting to provide you with life long memories of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Discovery Place has Four Bedrooms plus a loft area and Three Bathrooms. The Master Suite is located on the top level which has a King bed with it's own separate bath. The loft has two twin beds and is a great place for the little ones in your group especially since there is such easy access to this area, no pesky ladder steps.

On The main floor you will find two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed. This level boasts a fully equipped kitchen with warm kitchen cabinets and granite countertops. There is a large dining room table and living area with a natural wood burning fireplace all decorated in beautiful mountain decor.

On the Entry level you will find one bedroom with a King bed and one bathroom. The entry level also has a natural wood burning fireplace and entertaining area with a Ping-Pong Table. This level has a card table, flat screen TV with surround sound, blue ray and ipod player. We also provide heated boot dryers with capacity for 8 pairs of boots so they are nice and toasty for the next day of skiing.

There is a full size washer and dryer available for your use during your stay. I also contract with a certified massage therapist who will come right to your door to soothe your tired muscles after a hard day playing. Or you can just soothe away the days play in the bubbly hot tub!

The host was wonderful and easy to work with. A cell phone was dropped and fell under the deck. The host sent out his maintenance guy who removed a few slates and retrieved the phone. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

House

Very nice house and hot tub. Master bathroom- toilet seat broken. Second floor bathroom: very tight space to use toilet. We chose because ad said skiing 1 mi away. We’d stay closer to ski hill next time. Sky hill and discovery rd was very slick due to amt of snowfall.

Spacious house with a gorgeous view

Eleven of us stayed in this large house. There was ample seating in the family room while we watched the Olympics. If we stayed in the house more, we would have used the ping pong table and the hot tub. The location of the house was perfect as we were close to the lodge which provided many activities. The house could use a bit of updating. Some new carpet comes to mind and maybe some lighter decor

Amazing Location!!!

This property is an older house but the location is simply amazing. The views are beautiful. Very clean and fully furnished property. Plenty of room for the entire family. But, a 4x4 vehicle or all-wheel drive is mandatory for winter months to access this property. Great owner/property management communication.

Great place

Came out on spring break for some skiing. The location was not "ski in/ski out" but wasn't advertised as such......my point is, it's a great spot and close to town and was 1/2 the price of ski in ski out places and much roomier. I personally enjoyed the wonderful views of the mountains in the morning with my coffee! The hot tub is a nice touch as well. Will definitely come back to this place.

Great mountain views!

The property was great for the 10 of us, including 4 children. The property had baby gates in the laundry/storage room, which was very helpful to corral the 1.5 year old on the main floor (the kitchen, dining room, and main living room is up one flight of stairs). The property is a quick drive to Peak 7 and 8. Make sure if you are there on a holiday or weekend to reserve parking there ahead of time if you want that quick drive to parking. Otherwise the gondola parking lot is about a 10 minute drive, so still very close. The views from the living room are fantastic.

Great time in Breckenridge

We had an excellent time at this property. Ryan was very responsive and provided assistance where needed. Check-in was extremely easy, which was great. The house was perfect for our group of 8.

Nice restful location

The place was nice, close to peak 8 by car. We had a great time, especially since we had car troubles and were stuck at the house. The hot tub got good use. The house was bit dry, but we found the humidifiers, and that worked out. The kitchen has all the tools and pots and pans we needed. Overall, a great experience at the house.

TX family enjoying CO views!

Great space, even better views! Plenty of room for a large group. Open concept in the main floor allows for perfect family gathering time. Kids enjoyed the loft area. Also, very close to Breckinridge main shopping and restaurants. Less than 5 minutes from Breckinridge ski resort.

Outstanding view.

Outstanding view. Good location for the sightseeing and activities we did. The weather was perfect. Cool mountain air was so welcome after several weeks of over 100 degree heat in Texas. Although the altitude did cause a lot of huffing and puffing when climbing stairs or doing any type of exercise, mostly with those of us who are older. Enjoyed seeing a mother moose and her two calves walk right by the house twice while we were there. All in all we had a great family reunion. Only complaints were that the bed on the lower level was not very comfortable and the shower curtain needed to be cleaned or replaced. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to explore Breckenridge

We had a lovely stay for 5 nights. The cabin has a great layout for accommodating a larger group and was conveniently located to all of our planned activities. Would definitely recommend!

Cabin with moose

This is a very clean and well maintained home with comfy beds, comfy heating, screened windows to open for fresh mountain air and a deck to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. A bull moose visited while we were here and munched all the blue flowers around the house as we all stood watching him from the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub after a strenuous day playing games with the family! Hiking is close by and Dillon reservoir for kayaking. Thank you for sharing this great location with us!
