  • If you are looking for an authentic Cajun experience, then look no further! Maison Bon Temps was the home of the 2001 Crawfish Queen! From the custom cypress wainscoting to the crawfish capital of the world decor, this home oozes everything that is special about the Cajun culture. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home sits on a large lot with pool and pool house that has another full bathroom. The backyard oasis has a large patio that is great for entertaining and the ice cold pool is sure to beat the heat!

    Conveniently located right off of I-10 this gem is minutes from Cajun Palms RV Resort, the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Martin, Bayou Teche Brewery, and an abundance of restaurants specializing in the Cajun food that put Breaux Bridge on the map. Downtown Breaux Bridge will entice all of your senses. Cross the famous crawfish adorned bridge for local favorites like Award wining Cafe Sydnie Mae, the world famous Zydeco Breakfast at Buck and Johnny’s, antique shopping, and Joie de Vivre coffee shop. Take in a swamp tour on the Atchafalaya Basin and finish off the evening dancing the night away at La Poussiere Cajun Dancehall that has been open since 1955.

Wonderful property!! Quiet location, excellent amenities! The pool was great and refreshing after a hot summer day golfing! The house was clean, and they even had us a welcome snack! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay while traveling for a local sports event. It is less than 2 miles from Route 10 so you can get around the region quickly. We obviously ate as much Cajun food as we could, but the real gem we found was the Cajun Market Donut Company in downtown Breaux Bridge. Amazing! The house was so comfortable, the pool and backyard were excellent, and our family was relaxed through downtimes the entire stay. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend this property.

Breaux Bridge House

This was the perfect place for our family vacation! The house was immaculate, the pool was so refreshing after a hot day at the Crawfish festival and the beds were comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend!

Awesome house and grounds for our stay during the Crawfish Festival. We are quite meticulous in our decision where we book to stay during our vacations, but this is the first house within the U.S. that we absolutely would go back to in a heartbeat. It was so nice and quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the morning and listening and watching all the birds we don't have in Michigan.Logistically speaking, the house is 5-10 minutes away from everything you would need except the airport in Lafayette. It was an absolute fantastic stay. Everything was clean, the master bed was very comfortable, the fire pit was great on cooler nights, and the pool was INCREDIBLY refreshing when that Louisiana sun and humidity came out at the tail end of our trip.

This was our first time not staying at a hotel or with family while in the area and we loved the house. We loved the theme and the cosiness of the house. It had all the comforts of home and some we don't have at home. It was like being at our own private resort! That were too many added features to mention. There was "lagniappe" everywhere to help us enjoy our stay. We truly appreciated everything. Thank you

Great Stay!

This is my 2nd stay at this home. Again, it is cozy and very clean. We had a small gathering for my daughter's graduation, and the back yard area and pool were amazing. We had a fantastic stay, close to great restaurants and a beautiful Catholic church. Feels just like home, even better.
