Ask about a pontoon rental! This completely remodeled cabin is located in the historic Reel Livin’ Resort. Make it your home base for an Up-north adventure! The cabin is one mile from BIR and your group can enjoy year-round fishing, boating, snowmobiling, golfing, biking, hiking, and dining that North Long and the Brainerd area have to offer! This cabin has two bedrooms with a pullout queen sofa in the Livingroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. We have just purchase a brand new mattress for that bed. Bedroom 2 has a twin over queen bunk. The living room has a pull out couch for overflow sleeping.

This home is in the heart of vacation country! The resort has just five cabins and is known for its serene and friendly atmosphere. There is a great dock, and the shore provides an awesome view of North Long with all the fishing it has to offer!

This cabin is in a resort. It has great amenities such as a dock etc. It is important to understand that all outside amenities are shared with the owners and guests of five other cabins on the resort.

We stayed for our summer family vacation. We appreciated the modern cabin and being right on the lake. The lake was amazing… it was shallow and clear with a sandy bottom for a long ways out, our kids loved it! We do wish there had been a usable boat access closer by and bumpers on the dock so we could keep our boat tied up overnight. Management was quick to respond to the small issue we had and addressed our concerns right away.

Fishing buddies

My long-time friend (60+ years) and I wanted a getaway to go fish for a week. This rental was great for the two of us - two bedrooms, a great room/kitchen combo, a stackable washer/dryer, reliable wifi and a smart TV. We were able to fish six different lakes in the week and brought two coolers of fish home. Host was quick to respond to any questions and email. If you're looking for high priced luxuries, this isn't it. But if you want a comfortable, reasonably priced place to stay for the week or weekend, this is a 5 star gem!!

Very nice time

Stayed here for 4 nights with spouse and 3 family members. Nice clean cute cabin. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Fishing was productive and the lake is very clean. The only drawback was being so close to BIR and the loudness during the races or practice or whatever they were doing. But since we were on the water or exploring the area we didn't hear too much of it. But in spite of that we totally enjoyed it!

Amazing Stay

This is the first time we ever rented this property. I grew up on North Long Lake, actually on Birchdale Rd. The cabin was immaculate and any questions we had were promptly answered. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need. Literally walk in and unpack. Having a washer/dryer is especially helpful. The lake is absolutely gorgeous, soft sandy bottom, great for kids to swim. We definitely will rent this gem again!!! Thanks again for the wonderful stay.

Was a great little cabin. I have a 20’ boat and had no issues with parking and having a plug in for boat power. Grill was there which we took advantage of every night we were there. Super nice swimming area with it being mostly sand for a long ways out! Great views, great location.

Short walk to lake

Nice cabin and clean. Decent view of the lake. If you want to fish the lake it's really nice to have a dock for the boat and a short walk to it. Just be sure to use the nice boat ramp on 371 and NOT the one closest to the cabin. Trust me on this one! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Golfing trip

Perfect location for Brainerd's many golf courses. Early May beat the summer rush and the accomodations were fine. The cable service was less than satisfactory. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Ladies Weekend

Mike was an excellent host. He called to welcome us before we arrived and responded immediately when we had a question. The property was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Don’t miss sunrise over the lake and make time for an afternoon in Nisswa.

Perfect location and wonderful updated cabin

We loved our stay at this lovely cabin. It was completely updated and stocked with everything we needed down to the shampoo and dish soap. It was also SO clean!!! It was perfectly located close to everything and the lake was beautiful for relaxing with our paddle boards and kayaks. Mike was great to communicate with and checked in with us to make sure we had an easy check in and good stay. I would highly recommend staying here and we look forward to returning in the future.

Newly remodeled cabin at an old resort

The cabin was in great shape and was decorated/outfitted really nice! We got there later in the evening and the area was not lit up. In the dark and it wasn't obvious which cabin was ours at first. There are a handful of cabins that made up a resort at one time. Our host was easy to reach and walked me through getting to the cabin and getting checked in. Was located very close to Baxter which made grabbing supplies simple. We had a great stay and would look to stay here again in the future!

This little cabin was just perfect for a few days to relax with family. The clean, modern interior was just the thing after spending time exploring Brainerd Lakes and at the beach.

Very cute cabin tastefully decorated and supplied with everything you need. Sitting on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake was very pleasant. The lake level was down so beach was very shallow and wasn’t great for swimming when we were there, but many other beaches and water parks close by to enjoy. Convenient location to both Nisswa and Brainerd and tons of restaurants and so many things to do.

Relaxing Family Getaway

We had a great week with our family. The cabin was very clean, recently updated, and included everything that was listed. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer also. The cabin size was good for the six of us. We enjoyed our time spent on the lake and being in the Brainerd area. Communication with the manager was excellent and he made sure everything was perfect. We would definitely come back.

A Nice Getaway

The property location was far enough away from the sounds of traffic, but close enough to run out and grab anything you may have forgotten to bring. The house had a perfect view of the lake and was a great place to hunker down after an exciting day out on the lake and nearby trails. No issues with the house whatsoever and provided everything we needed to have a nice week away from the cities. Would stay there again given the chance to do so.
