"This property is located on an industrial cut-de-sac making it noisy. The photos of the property make it look much nicer than it is. Most guests were construction workers so there was a lot of activity early in the morning. The coffee pot was unusable to use due to baked on coffee, was not able to clean it off. The air conditioner loud and the beds creaked whenever we moved.
We chose this location because of its proximity to Marcy hospital. It was not what we were expecting in comfort. ...

"Room was advertised as non smoking however it smelled like an ashtray. I prepaid for the room for two days and was told if I chose not to stay a refund would be considered 10-15 business days. I was also told all of the non smoking rooms smelled the same.
As soon as I left I had to wash all of my hanging clothes and clean everything that had been in the room.
Such a negative experience. I will not be staying there again nor will I refer anyone to this property. Shame on you !!!"

"I used to stay at this hotel a lot and 2016 and it pretty much looks the same as it did then it could really use a facelift that being said though the rooms are immaculately clean. I messed up my booking through Expedia and the clerk at the front desk was so wonderful with helping me get it fixed. Expedia totally failed me, but the clerk at Green Stay literally saved my day and allowed me to go ahead and check in. I was very very impressed with the treatment I was given at check-in."

"This hotel is packed with Rt. 66 history! It’s dated but they have updated the rooms and the pool and outdoor areas are very nice. Unfortunately we arrived late at night, so we couldn’t take advantage of the pool. (Opens at 10 am, checkout is 11 am)"

"I felt that the staff was aggravated that we were in the halls. I felt uncomfortable when they blocked elevators with carts and groups talking and I had to actually say excuse me and they didn't move. I am not sure they were able to understand the way they are conducting themselves was unprofessional. I did not feel like a guest who was valued. The hot tub was not adjusted properly and the jets were out of control. Not relaxing at all."

"The TV did not work our entire stay. And they were doing construction on the back side of the hotel right behind our room and I was woken up by what sounded like a jackhammer at 8:00 a.m. after I had traveled all night the night before. If you are doing construction work and there's a possibility that the noise could ruin a customer stay you should tell the customers up front that that is happening so they have a choice and where they stay at."
