  • This beautiful 6-bedroom home is perfectly nestled between the championship golf courses and the slopes in the Reserve at Boyne Mountain. Kitz Retreat accommodates up to 15 guests with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a bonus room! Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway or for an outdoor adventure, this home is perfect for your next Northern Michigan vacation. It's a beautiful location for all seasons. Featuring granite countertops, slate tile floors, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, wet bar, jetted tub, and more!

    The main floor is designed with an open concept living room, dining area for 8, spacious kitchen, and laundry room. The master bedroom is adjacent to the living room, with an ensuite bathroom and king bed. Alongside with a guest bedroom featuring a queen bed and a full bath.

    The lower level is perfect for your additional guests, one room with a queen bed with a full bathroom, an additional two bedrooms with a queen beds with a shared bathroom, and a bonus room with two bunks with twin over queen beds.

    Enjoy 2 large decks, one located on the main level, and the other on the lower level. A firepit is available for your convenience, along with snowshoes and yard games.

    The paved walk/bike path outside of the front door will take you all the way down to Deer Lake or over to the Boyne Mountain Village.

    Guests staying at Kitz Retreat are welcome to drive to Kitz Cabin to park for the day which offers ski-in/ski-out access to Super Bowl, Escape and Cold Springs runs. This is a private ski lodge for Reserve owners and while guests do not have access to the ski lodge they can park and ski without fighting the masses at the base of the mountain.

    *This property requires a 2 or 3-night minimum stay.

    **4WD or AWD are highly recommended to access this property during winter/snowy months.

    ***Note: Our home is located in the Reserve at Boyne Mountain. All guests are required to follow the HOA rules.

    ****** Please note that this property utilizes a chairlift with a lift schedule that is subject to change. We encourage you to access the Boyne Mountain website for lift schedule as units are not always ski-in/ski-out.

    The Area:

    Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.

    Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.

    Looking for a Day Trip? Visit Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear Dunes. These are just a few options during your visit in Northern Michigan!

The house is beautiful, well equipped, clean and very spacious. We were 15 people staying for 4 days on the property as part of a family reunion. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Hosts were very responsive about our inquiries. I highly recommend staying at this place if you are looking for a stay for a big group.

Wonderful time ~ 2nd time around!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property with our 5 kids, spouses and grandchildren last year and had such a good time, we repeated the trip this year! The 6 bedrooms were a perfect fit, the kitchen wasn't missing anything we might have needed, there were games for both inside and outside easily accessible. In addition to this property, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. There truly is something for everyone - old, young, athletic or not. Our grandkids loved Avalanche Bay Waterpark and "the Hungry Duck" petting farm. Our daughters/daughter-in-laws enjoyed shopping in Petoskey. As a family we toured the Kilwin's Kitchen in Petoskey. The golfers in our group didn't miss out on golfing right at Boyne. We had fun renting golf carts and touring the mountain's beauty. We could come back next year and see more of what the area offers ~ definitely MUCH to do in the area!!
