  • This is a perfect rental right at the Gateway to the Rockies, Lyons Colorado. It is a short drive into the mecca of Boulder or head west just 30 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park.

    Hall Ranch is the best mountain biking trail in Boulder County just 3 minutes from the house or enjoy tubing on the river, amazing parks or Planet Bluegrass just a short walk down the hill.

    This part of Lyons only has a couple of streetlights around anywhere and it is perfectly quiet every night. You can see wildlife like a group of deer that frequent the backyard or the neighborhood lynx making his rounds in the morning.

    Guests will have an access to 2 car garage. The main space has a very large kitchen opened to a living room and there is a deck off of the kitchen. Amazing patios and yard.

    The rooms are decorated with contemporary, high-end furniture and the bedding is mostly from natural hypoallergenic materials or organic materials. All of our shampoos/soaps/conditioners are organic.

    This rental is the upper floor, garage, driveway and front of house landscaping areas only. The basement is a separate rental unit. Depending on availability, there may be an option to rent the basement unit together with the upper floor for an additional 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, washer/dryer, pergola, deck and backyard area.

What a charming home! Very nice updating and decor - we found it delightful. Very clean, with comfortable furnishings and the location in Lyons was great for a jumping off place for hiking. Local coffee shop (walking distance) had live music on one morning, and was a welcoming spot with great coffee and bakery items. Communication with our host Petra was excellent. Everything was spelled out and directions were easy to understand. Smooth check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay! Clean home, comfortable beds, very attentive and easy to contact host. Big bonus of being able to park our car in the garage. Will return if we ever stay in Lyons again!

Amazing house

We loved staying at Petra’s, even though we were only there basically to sleep it was a very nice and clean house. Check in was easy and location was perfect!

great place and location which allowed easy access to many attractions. Any small issues I had with it were due to not reading details of description and Petra ( the host) went overboard to make our stay good. She is a wonderful host.

Great house and location. Within walking distance to charming downtown Lyons, the river, restaurants and entertainment venues. Despite the close distance to downtown, the neighborhood is dead quiet at night and full of wildlife to include deer and fox. We had a great stay.

Wonderful location and community

We stayed here on a trip to Colorado on the days we hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park. Longmont is a short drive from the house (groceries, gym) and the town of Lyons truly has everything you need for a short stay. Host was professional and responsive. Wonderful spot for a getaway!

Had a great stay

We stayed here for a weekend during the Rockygrass festival at Planet Bluegrass. The house was perfect for our group of friends and our 1 year old. Close walk to town and the festival. Highly recommend.

Perfect Central Lyons House

We had a wonderful long weekend in Petra and Matt's beautiful home. The location was perfect for our son's wedding at Planet Bluegrass. We were able to walk to all the activities and comfortably have other family stop by to visit.

The home was charming and in a great location. It was super well equipped for toddlers. It would have been nice to have a washer and dryer. The owners were wonderful to work with.

Beautiful Home, Sweet Town

Lovely home in great location. Easy to explore front range from Boulder to Fort Collins. Estes Park is less than half hour away, the national park is an easy day trip. Town of Lyons has a great park with easy access to the St. Vrain River, several good places to eat, and an overall relaxed vibe. Petra is an excellent host. Would gladly stay again.

Perfect getaway location at the gateway to RMNP.

This was our second stay at this property which probably tells you everything right there. Petra has thought of most everything one could reasonably hope for when not in their own home. The home is spacious with huge windows for enjoying the view and wildlife. The location is close enough to downtown for a casual stroll to dinner, or to go get a pastry and coffee in the morning. It's also a great location for a day of outdoor adventure. Definite recommend.

Exquisite, comfortable stay!

We loved our stay in this clean and spacious 3br / 2ba house. Great air conditioning was a relief to return to during the hot summer days. My husband and I stayed with our 2 year old and his grandma. I regret the pitter patter of his little steps seemed to bother the guests in the basement between 7-7:30 pm but the hosts seemed understanding. Just be aware that you could have guests below you and they can likely hear a lot. We loved the spaciousness of the master suite and kitchen and living room area. The garden is beautiful and we were thrilled to enjoy it. Lovely Lyons and a lovely home. Great communication by the hosts. Five stars. Would stay again.

Great location

Property was clean and well cared for… Walk for coffee and good location for wedding at the Farmette…. It became sunny out only 2 old lawn chairs outside…. Would be nice to have furniture on deck and outside… as the yard is inviting.. may just be considered early season ….

Visit with my Grand kids

This place was perfect!! Very pleased! Very clean and most of the conveniences of home! Modern. Washer and dryer would have been wonderful, but we managed! Towels were limited and the washer and dryer would have taken care of that! More dish towels would have been helpful too! It was great though!!!
