"Les chambres (genre de mobile-homes) sont toutes les mêmes (avec un lit double + un lit simple) elles sont spacieuses ( mais très peu de rangements). Petit déjeuner buffet très correct, avec options salées et sucrées incluses. Nuits calmes. Prévoir insecticide car bcp de moustiques dans les chambres. Personnel très souriant et agréable. Hôtel ouvert très récemment, donc à voir avec le temps. "

"This hotel was perfect for a beach getaway in Soksan. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Mountain View apartment, which was a bit removed from some of the communal spaces in the property which provided quiet. To access the beach you simply cross the street in front of the property. The included breakfast is substantial and extremely fresh. We also enjoyed multiple dinners on the property and found the staff friendly (shout out to Tony) and the food to be fair priced and tasty. I would definitely return...

"Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!"

"We were very disappointed on arrival - a very loud construction site far from the tropical paradise we were expecting. The staff were very kind offering us a free dinner and a room upgrade on the 2nd night. Thank god - the shiwer did’nt drain and there was a lake in front if the toilet. Food is wondreful as well as the beach. Please check with the hotel before booking to see if they have finished construction."

"Arrived after 3 week traveling for a rest before flying home. I realised after the second night I was getting bitten even though I had mosquito vape plugged in and 50 % deet on my body. So. Requested the room to be fumigated. Which they did. But the second night was exactly the same. I had no sleep as I was being bitten terribly. "Great location - quiet end of the beach! The bungalows were lovely. Hospitality wasn’t great - not he warm welcome and customer service we’d had before coming to the islands. Sun beds on the beach were a great bonus although you need to get out early as there’s not enough for all paying guests."

"Oct 2025 - be warned that they are building a pool (which will be amazing once completed!) but is currently a building site so very noisy during the day. Also your view from a ‘sea view’ villa will be very compromised!! The staff were very understanding and sorted an alternative day to the other side of the island on Lazy Beach (which is beautiful!). Clean room, good breakfast, right by the jetty for ferry. So much to like if it wasn’t for the building noise! Shame that no one seems to bother...

"Secret Gardens is located on the best part of Pagoda beach with clean perfect white sand that is cleaned daily. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and perfect for our family"
