Those of us who know about the area’s historic buildings, art galleries, bars, and restaurants are not in a hurry to tell everybody else. Savin Hill is a vibrant mix of young professionals and artists, close enough to downtown to make getting around Boston a breeze, but with enough happening in your immediate environs that you don’t need to go far to discover why our neighborhood is truly a hidden gem.

Getting Around: The JFK/UMass subway station is a 12 minute walk from our home. From there, the Red Line will take you directly into the heart of Boston in minutes. The nearest Hubway bicycle rental location is less than a five minute walk away. There are also several private transportation options at your disposal (Uber/Lyft, Zipcar). If you do plan on driving, please note that parking is limited at this location -- please message us if you have questions about where you can park your vehicle.
Other Things to Note: HOUSE DISCLOSURES –We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group.

Graduation Weekend
We had family and friends join us in Boston for our daughter’s graduation from BU. Chose the house because of size, number of beds and bathrooms, and onsite parking space. House was perfect for our group of 10 adults. We especially appreciated the extra towels, soaps, shampoos, and toilet paper as many places really scrimp on these

Disappointed
Advertised as 5 BR, 5 bath but was 5BR, 31/2 bath. Was duplex instead of single dwelling, had to share driveway with other unit, not enough hot water. other unit occupants were told same as us that whole property was for one family. we were able to work out parking schedule with them as they were construction workers and were very nice. Smoke alarm had been removed from downstairs BR. No welcome pkg. 3 people had to share 1 shower downstairs, Very disappointed over a[[,

Not bad
The house was spacious and fit our group of 12+infant. The communication with Jay was great, I got a response very quickly and it was clear. When we initially found the house the description did not mention it being a duplex, so there is a separate unit that is rented out. There also wasn’t any indication until check in day we wouldn’t be able to park on the street. Instead having to park a few blocks away and walking back to the house. I would also say “fully stocked” is deceiving in the sense there’s limited pots and pans, we were only able to find one measuring cup and we had to buy more paper towels. So cooking at the house was a bit of a challenge. When it comes to cleanliness the house was clean but we did come across some mouse poop in the trundle bed and later in our suitcase. Overall we had.a fine stay, just a few hiccups that could be better advertised and fixed I'd say.
