We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is cute, very clean, and we felt very safe. It was an easy walk to restaurants and attractions. There was one small issue that came up and the owner was very prompt with response and sending somebody out to look at the concern. We will definitely stay here again.

Great apartment close to central Salem. Parking was very easy, loads of spaces in the street and it's really safe. Recommend for a stay in Salem!!

The apartment was beautifully kept. Everything was very clean and overall was very comfortable. It was a 20 minute walk to all of the attractions, and the coffee shop a couple blocks away was our favorite breakfast spot. I would highly recommend this property for future stays!

They were very responsive to our questions. The place was very clean and not a bad location. It’s a bit of a walk, but there is a great bike path most of the way!

Property overall was very good. Only real issue was the balcony screen doors screen was ripped out and the door did not lock. Would recommend.

Amenities were lacking in many ways…lacked suitable pans for cooking and basics like salt and pepper. Bedrooms were cold due to drafts around windows with air conditioners and a drafty door. No extra blankets or quilts. Sliding shower door not on tracks properly. When dishwasher was turned on it started leaking soap.

Honestly, don’t book this stay unless you’re looking for a five nights at Freddy’s level experience. Neighbors above us had quite the drug or anger issues. Woken up at 3:00am and carrying on to the early hours of the day, we heard screaming, fighting, banging, glass shattering just above us. Uttering threats, men running in and out of the house, everything. All also just outside of our shared old wooden door that could absolutely be broken with one full body check. We didn’t feel safe. Also take into account we were two 21 year old women. Pulled knives out of the kitchen knife block incase we needed them. I spent awhile trying to get ahold of the host for a refund, but it’s been about 7 weeks and have been entirely ghosted. No response regarding the refund, just only an apology for the behavior of his tenant upstairs. Would not recommend this place. What a shame.

The advertising on this unit with two bedrooms is misleading, when you get inside you start realizing that it doesn't match the pictures. First of all if you have problems with your knees/legs and you have the apartment on the second floor you are in trouble. The stairs, two flights, are steep and high. This apartment needs a lot of love! There is a large hole in the ceiling above the stove in the kitchen and another one in one of the bedrooms. There are no night lamps or closets . You have to get up from the bed to turn off the light. There were a few clothes hangers perched on a corner of the door, and a hook in the wall. The shower doors are off the rail and the shower leaks. Also nothing to hang wet towels. The mattress is wrapped in plastic so you can sweat all night. Bed sheets, cover and pillows extremely worn out . The screen on the balcony door ripped of and the paper inside hanging. Balcony rail shaking, a heavy person or children leaning over can fall ! There are no pots in the cupboards on top kitchen cabinets, on the bottom there is nothing but dirty spaces! No sugar/salt only empty boxes ! Windows extremely old , how did this apartment pass safety inspection? Many of these complaints were already expressed by other visitors 6 months ago, nothing changed! The positive part is that the house is near downtown Salem, parking is easy and you can watch a splendid sun set from the balcony but watch your step!

I liked that everything was available to me comfort wise. I also liked that the property manager was always available if I needed any questions answered or any help or assistance with anything. Would very much consider staying there again! 😊

Great location and had a perfect charm to it fitting for Salem if you are visiting. Next to a really pretty trail that takes you straight to Essex and the main area. We never had to uber which was amazing. Couldn’t have gotten anything better for this price!!
