The home features 2 cozy bedrooms — one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds — plus a spacious living room with two twin-size air mattresses for additional sleeping space. The fully renovated kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and dine in: refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, griddle, coffee maker, and electric kettle. Natural light floods the living space, creating a relaxing and welcoming environment.

Very clean. Great restaurants within walking distance. Lots of natural light with skylights in entry and bedrooms. Stairs are well light at night. Everything is well kept. Kitchen has the basics. Other than Washington street, the neighborhood is quiet. Had everything we need for our short stay.

Comfortable!

Best for 4 or fewer people. Homey upstairs unit. Some road noise, esp in front bedroom (twin beds). Long steep outdoor stairway - well lit at night. Combined kitchen corner (sink, refrig, range/cooktop) and living room (glass coffee table couches, TV) with no room for nearby table for eating. Table and chairs are by entry door. Toaster oven and microwave,no baking dishes for oven use. Nice deck with table/chairs for eating outdoors. Appreciated recharging plug-ins by bedside. No shoes indoors - nice wood flooring. Our teens played several of the games. Many interesting books!

Clean and great communication

The property is very clean, with tons of very well organized suggestions in 2 prepared booklets/binders for things to do in the Boston area. We had a small issue with the thermostat and the owner took care of it asap. I would definitely recommend staying at this property!

Fantastic lodgings

Julian was such a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Location was convenient to explore Boston and relatively easy to get to. Julian has made this place very much a home from home, so great to get back to and relax in the evenings. Thanks again Julian.

Took a bit to find the Apartment.

Had a hard time finding this place. Entrance/parking to the apartment is different than where GPS says. Uneven gravel/pavement to the apartment. Steep and many stairs up to the apartment, don’t bring any large suitcases. Once we settled in, was pretty comfy, some road noise in the first bedroom as you enter the apartment.

Enjoyed our stay. Great location. Julian was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Limited ability to prepare meals(which we knew from the listing) but adequate for breakfast. Off street parking was fine and easy to access with Julian’s directions. Would stay there again.

We were in a great place, we had access to anywhere we wanted to visit

The apartment was beautiful and we had everything we needed for a weeks visit. Right outside the was access to the bus stop which allowed us to go everywhere without moving our car. The yard was absolutely beautiful. Couldn’t have gotten a better place. Our vacation was wonderful. Julian was available at all times, if we had needed him. But we didn’t need to bother him for anything. Everything we needed was there and loaded with information about the area and things to do. Our vacation was wonderful. Greg & Julia Watson

Great time in Boston !

My group of four friends enjoyed our stay in West Roxbury! The apartment was a little off the path, and we weren’t sure we were in the right spot at first, but we found it! The host provided very detailed directions! The apartment was exactly as described, clean, and safe. One honest, additional thought is that we spent most of our time out-and-about. We used the apartment for mornings and evenings only. If you're looking to stay at the VRBO for your whole time in Boston, your experience may not be the same as ours. This VRBO was perfect for what we needed. Five stars.

Cozy, but some guests have problems

1. Nice overall apartment size & space true to description & up to date pictures 2. We were comfortable & the space suited us for our weekend. Priced reasonably 3. I really dislike those stairs- 3 stories on the outside. Caution should be taken for the young, old, and those with height issues. 4. A regular car would have to use extra caution as the alley way is terribly neglected by the town. I am sorry that the homeowners must endure that.

Steps were a little overwhelming.

Quaint place. The only thing I wouldn’t rent it again were the stairs. Too many and a little unsafe. Other wise it was comfortable and clean.

Great alternative to a hotel room!

The apartment is just what my son and I needed for our trip to Boston. I was here to drop him off for college and we needed an easy place to land for a couple of days. As advertised there isn't a kitchen and it's up an outside flight of stairs so keep that in mind as you're planning your trip. The owner was very good about communicating with me as well before and during our stay. It was a good value for the money spent.
