Welcome to The Overlook Cabin, a cozy mountain retreat tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains between Boone and Blowing Rock.

Designed for slow mornings, evenings around the fire, and weekends spent exploring the High Country, The Overlook Cabin brings together warm mountain character, thoughtful design, and plenty of space to gather.

Start your morning with coffee overlooking the mountains from one of two private decks. Spend the day exploring Boone, wandering through downtown Blowing Rock, hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway, or hitting the nearby slopes. Then come home for dinner on the deck, s’mores around the fire pit, or a movie night downstairs with fresh popcorn.

With 5 bedrooms, 6 beds, and room for up to 10 guests, The Overlook is perfect for families, groups of friends, ski weekends, and mountain getaways.

Just 10 minutes to Historic Blowing Rock and 15 minutes to downtown Boone, you’ll feel tucked away in the mountains without being far from everything the High Country has to offer.

The Overlook Cabin was designed to be a place where everyone can gather together while still having room to spread out.

The main living spaces are warm, comfortable, and made for spending time together. Settle in after a day in the mountains, gather around the table for dinner, or step outside and take in the view.

Downstairs, the dedicated movie room is perfect for cozy nights in, complete with a big screen and popcorn maker.

Guest access

The entire cabin is yours during your stay, so you can settle in and make yourself at home.

Guests will access the property using a private front-door code provided before check-in.

The Overlook accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, including children.

No pets.
No smoking.

Because this is a mountain home, we recommend guests plan accordingly for changing mountain weather and road conditions, particularly during the winter months.
