Luxury Home With Great Views

Welcome to Cardinal Perch!

Cardinal Perch is a distinct home with custom craftsmanship throughout. This home is full of mountain character with pieces like the leathered granite, banquet-style table, log-hewn seating, stone kitchen island, handmade wood slab beds, and more.

The main level offers an open great room, dining, and kitchen, all of which look through a wall of windows to mountaintop views. The custom dining table seats 10 guests comfortably and accommodates 15, including the island seating. The great room centers around a custom stone wall with a live edge mantle, stone hearth, gas log fireplace, and a huge HDTV. Even the half bathroom in the foyer is a fully customized work of art.

Upstairs features a completely private king master suite with comfortable furniture, vaulted ceiling, and private ensuite master bathroom with heated floors and oversized stone shower with frameless glass door and walls. The mountain views are best from the master suite.

Downstairs offers two more bedrooms and a game room. The 8-foot slate pool table, card and game-play table, a cabinet full of games and puzzles, and bar all complement a central 100" projector screen for movies, TV, and gaming. There is comfortable, reclining theater seating to enjoy your favorite movies and games. This property offers Streaming Services only. There is no cable or satellite programming.

Please note that this home has at least one exterior video camera for security purposes.

Breath taking property and great customer service!

The property was absolutely beautiful inside and out. the amenities were great! Our group absolutely loved our stay and we would definitely stay here again! They were quick to respond to any questions we had and were very accommodating! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in this area!

The Cardinal Perch was unreal!

The view was unreal! The house was clean and the theater/game room was awesome!! Definitely recommend staying here. We have been to the mountains a lot and this is by far the best views we have seen!

Beautiful home

We had a very nice stay at Cardinal Perch with 2 other families. The layout is perfect especially for teenagers! They enjoyed the entire downstairs to themselves. Beautiful views and a quiet area made this trip amazing! We will definitely rent again.

Didn’t want to leave

We have stayed at Beech Mountain many times over the years and this home was by far the best. The floor plan, the view, the amenities, distance to the slopes, and hot tub were just a few of the perks. I highly recommend this one. It was also very clean.

Family Getaway

We rented this house so we could have a family getaway. It was perfect for everyone. Each family had their own room and space. The downstairs basement was a blast with the pool table and movie room. There was something for everyone. The entire home is beautiful and ample seating to feed our family.

Wonderful getaway

Awesome cabin! Warn and friendly community. A perfect location to spend time with your family. The only hiccup was due to bad cell connection I was not able to communicate with the management office when i arrived. Otherwise I highly recommend.

House and views were amazing! Very well appointed and a great kitchen for our group that loves to cook! ….our only small complaint was it could’ve been a little cleaner. A lot of dusty floors and furniture..especially in the master bedroom and bathroom. Other than that, it was just perfect for our family! I would definitely recommend and stay there again!

The house was wonderful and the view was amazing. I would add a deep freezer to the property. The blinds needed to be cleaned and it was a problem with the door code; however, I will rent this location again.

Great Stay

The cabin was great for two families. It had tons of space for the teens downstairs in the tv/game room and the large great room/kitchen area on the main floor is great for the adults. It is a five minute drive to the slopes and the level parking and easy access into the house was incredibly convenient for loading and unloading. The furniture is probably close to the end of its useful life and needs an upgrade based on the quality/price of the cabin itself, but that would be our only minor note. The property management company communicated incredible well and were very responsive when we had a minor issue. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful house, Cleaning crew

The house is gorgeous and cozy! The views are amazing and theater/ game room is so fun!! It’s close to the slopes! The only issues was that There was miscommunication about our arrival date and so they weren’t done cleaning when we got there. They left a lot of cleaning incomplete. ( full dirty dishwasher upon arrival, dirty pants in a room, no starter soap) The popcorn machine was dirty and the cleaners didn’t pull out the popcorn to leave for us to use( we found it in the owners closet though) That was a cleaning service issue though, not a management company issue. The management worked with us and resolved our issues. I would highly recommend this property though.

Amazing Views and amenities

What an absolutely stunning property with views that cannot be beat and a phenomenally furnished house a layout perfect for family and stunning custom furniture. Our family of 10 including Grandparents, kids and grandchildren all could not have been happier. What incredible views and what a way to reconnect at a place like this!

Perfect Location!

The property was exactly what I was looking for to host our family for my son’s wedding. A short drive to the Overlook Barn where the event was hosted. The Mountain View from the back porch was stunning, especially at sunset. We were able to host a dinner for the bride & groom, and the property offered many activities to entertain guests (fire pit, hot tub, pool table and theater). It was everything we hoped for and we definitely recommend this property!

Great house terrible rental company

House was great, rental company was not. Forced me and my family with two young children to wait in our car for 3 hours past check in in 19 degree weather because house had not been cleaned yet and would not let us in to house to stay in a room while it was cleaned. Could not go inside until 7pm, and was never provided access code from company to go inside. Cleaning crew had to let us inside. Never have I been treated so terribly and will never stay at any house managed by this company again.

Awesome Family Vacation

Owners thought of everything you could need to have an awesome experience! Home is beautiful, comfortable and large enough so everyone has their own space. Hot tub, theater room ,pool table, boardgames, books,puzzles etc.something for everyone. Kitchen has everything available for your needs. Views are outstanding, deer are plentiful and a large firepit area was wonderful. Property is accurately described and pictured online. There were 9 of us celebrating our family and anniversaries and a birthday Awesome bonding experience for all! Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home! Wonderful experience from the time we rented online to the last day of our stay.

Great mountain getaway

The house was fantastic for our relaxing getaway. Our kids invited friends and the house was big enough for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking; seating was adequate and comfortable; beds/bedding were great too. We stopped in Banner Elk for the bulk of our groceries. When we needed some additional foods, we were pleasantly surprised with the variety of groceries available at the general store that was close by. Kids loved the theater room, the pool table and the hot tub! Some additional kitchen towels would have been helpful.
