Chipmunk View Lodge is located on Appalachian Ski Mountain and offers stunning mountain views, a hot tub, a game room, wonderful outdoor living with a manmade waterfall feature, two grills, a garage, and accommodates 10 guests!

Enter the main level from the paved driveway via two steps onto the front deck. As you walk into the family room you're sure to appreciate the peaked ceilings with tongue and groove woodwork, gas fireplace, TV, and comfortable furnishings. Off the family room is the kitchen with quartz countertops, glass subway tile, stainless steel appliances, wet bar, and access to the garage. Through an arched entryway is the dining room with room for 10 at the table.

Down the hall is a full bath with tub/shower and the washer & dryer. This bathroom is shared by two Queen beds on the main level. At the end of the hallway is the beautiful master suite with King bed, peaked ceilings, TV, windows for a beautiful wake up view, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub, double vanity, and custom tiled shower with rain head and body sprayers.

Downstairs is a second living area with TV and gas fireplace. Down a hallway is the expansive game room with seating area, chess table, a ping pong table, and 2 twin beds. Off the den is a full bathroom with tub/shower and a Queen bedroom.

The outdoor living offered at this home is as impressive as the inside, with decks on both the front and back sides. The front decks overlook the stunning layered mountain views, and the back deck leads to a tranquil spot with a gas firetable, outdoor dining table, gas grill, Big Green Egg grill, and a soothing manmade waterfall feature with beautiful landscaping around. At the end of the deck is a gate to the sloping fenced-in yard, perfect for kids of all ages to enjoy. On the lower level is a concrete patio with a beautiful Bullfrog Spas hot tub, ready for you to relax and enjoy!

The driveway for Chipmunk Lodge is paved and is plowed in winter when 3" or more of snow falls, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the property in snow or ice. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
-Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- HOME NO LONGER HAS A POOL TABLE AS OF AUGUST 2023.
- Stays of 2+ weeks at Chipmunk View Lodge are welcome, with an additional $125 cleaning fee added to the existing cleaning fee.
- This homeowner uses one exterior security camera, mounted above the garage door, to ensure their home remains safe.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
