Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of mountain living from this rugged timber frame one bedroom condo located in Chalakee, within Echota Resorts. This condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing Grandfather Mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Wonderful condo with great view of Grandfather mountain.

We had a problem with the disposal and the grill needed to be cleaned and the management took care of the problems quickly. We will definitely stay here again.

Grandfather Mountain View

We loved the view. The place was well equipped with Kitchen Utensils which has not been our experience in the past. Plenty of relevant reading material on the book case. We were on a 30 day road trip of the south east and at the end we both agreed this was the best VRBO we rented. It is as good as it looks in the pictures. With the elevator it was extremely easy to bring in groceries and luggage. Would recommend this place to a couple looking for a very relaxing stay.

Amazing View & Beautiful Condo

The view of Grandfather Mountain could not have been better! The unit was super clean, bed was comfy. Pullout sofa could use a new mattress. Carried air mats as a backup. We never found the dumpster luckily my uncle is a local so we took our trash to him at checkout! Wifi was very unreliable and cell service was limited in the bedroom with our carrier. They came to look at it but it was still iffy. Pool was nice. Great stay, would stay again for sure!
