Great Location/Views, Furnishings Worn

Perfect location and views. Great proximity to Beech Mtn. Plenty of space. However, property furnishings were extremely worn and needed to be thrown out. Pillows in tatters, couches and chairs were gross. Coffeemakers were all broken. This property definitely needs a makeover. If that bothers you, you’ll want to stay somewhere else.

Spectacular views and roomy house.

Loved the fantastic views from the house. The fact that every room had a bathroom was a deciding factor when picking this house. We were 6 couples sharing the house. The only drawback was the location was about 30 or so minutes getting places with a bunch of curves. Next time we will plan all our meals for dinner at the house.

The place itself was wonderful, accurate listing with plenty of space. Unfortunately, the cleaning was a bit sub-par, we sent feedback directly to the renter. The view is spectacular, and overall it was a good stay for us.

Spectacular location and cabin.. well maintained and close to everything on beech mountain.. club transfer membership a plus. Have already booked for next year.

Breathtaking views

The cabin has breathtaking views of the mountains. The description states that here is AC on the main floor and the top when in there is no Ac on the top floor. Top floor bedrooms were very warm. The grill did not and the outdoor furniture was falling apart.

Expansive house with incredible views

The space more than accommodated usfor our summer trip, however we were a bit underwhelmed by the condition of the furniture (lots of wear and tear) and the lack of certain cleaning procedures done prior to our arrival.

Incredible View

The place was very spacious for the 9 of us! The MBR is huge. Kitchen was well stocked with a large pantry/laundry room. The view was amazing! Don't play below the deck or you might have visitors.... the large 4-legged black fur kind! We had 3 black bears the 1st day! Only a few small issues: tear on screen and broken handle on door to deck, table on deck is very wobbly, 1 or more of the chairs needs to be fixed or replaced. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay at the cabin. We appreciate everything that was there. The floors seemed kinda dirty when we got there. Otherwise all was good.

Great Cabin

Had a good ski trip experience. Only issue was no attempt to manage snow on drive, decks stairs etc. Four wheel drive is not recommended it is required to tackle the slope from the road down to garage. Great experience!

Great place for a family reunion!

Everything was just like the description and it met our expectations completely! I feel maintenance needs to replace quite a few light bulbs throughout the house. The one and only light in the master toilet was burned out so I had to take one from a lamp and replace it. AND there wasn’t any toilet paper in the master bathroom so we had to purchase more. I would definitely stay there again!

Exceelent stay at Pine Cone manor

We had recently had a family reunion at PineCone Manor and enjoyed our stay tremendously. I was wary after seeing some of the negative reviews, but much to our plesant surprise, found the property to be very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. ALL bredrooms had clean sheets and bathrooms had nice amenities. It would be nice if there were extra towels. The location was superb with lots of hikes in walking distance that the family enjoyed very much. The views were amazing. Would love to go back! One special note: Carolina Cabin rentals are an amazing company. They were very responsive to all our needs and all my family that came from all over the US was very impressed with their service.!

A couple things to help

We had a really good time. The property had plenty of room and was well appointed. A couple of things - The living room had 7 remotes and no instructions. Had to get assistance. There were two broken chairs upstairs, one of which my daughter in law fell out of with our grandson as she was trying to sit down. And the alarm on the hot water heater started going off the 2nd day we were there. We called the office and left a message but our call was never returned. So the alarm beeped the rest of the time we were there. But we enjoyed our stay and the property was perfect for our family.

Fun family trip.

We enjoyed your cabin very much. Everything was very clean. Only thing that was messing was cookie sheets. Little trouble with directions that was sent. Never saw the red light on Main St, but we got there. Great game room! Thank you very much.

Large roomy house

We had a great weekend with friends in this rental. Nice large kitchen and living area. Basement with gameroom was nice for the kids. Mattresses on some of the beds were not too comfortable. The cleaning service did not do to good of a job- showers were not very clean and there were not any towels in some of the bathrooms when we arrived.
