Need nature and serenity? Then you will enjoy this comfortable and warm Norman house, located in a hilly environment without nuisance and decorated in a seaside style. Ground floor, living room, kitchen and bathroom with washing machine. Mezzanine bedroom with bed 160 and cot.
The property enjoys an ideal location, 1h45 from Paris by the A14 (exit Beuzeville), 10 minutes from Pont l'Evèque and 20 minutes from Deauville and Honfleur.

Superb

We had a wonderful stay. Our little house was clean and cozy and beautifully decorated. A nicely equipped kitchen and washing machine were great luxuries. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great, with the closest village within walking distance and many other cute little towns nearby. It was the perfect base for exploring Normandy. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful. Our host, Brigitte was very kind and welcoming. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and we loved meeting her husband and very sweet dog, Love. We hope to return in the future.

E stato un soggiorno meraviglioso, il posto è incantevole, la casa sembra uscita da un libro di fiabe. Completa di tutto, arredata con gusto e con grande attenzione ai dettagli. Brigitte e Philippe sono ospiti davvero accoglienti e gentili.

Le chant des oiseaux et une campagne luxuriante. Un très bel endroit et un chaleureux accueil de Brigitte qui a fait de « sa campagne » un lieu où on reviendra avec plaisir.

Charme de l'habitat ancien dans le bocage normand.

Bain de ruralité revivifiant. Dépaysement garanti dans la Normandie campagnarde et typique du Pays d"Auge à l'est de Caen. Intérêts touristitiques et culturels avec Honfleur, Lisieux et Trouville. Giverny à 1 heure 15. Intérêts gastronomiques : viande, patisserie, fromages,crustacés.. Commerces traditionnels. Amabilité de la population. Nature luxuriante avec herbivores. Accueil sympathique et disponibilité de Brigitte. Logement confortable et propre. Bonne literie. Équipement complet. Prévoir vêtements chauds et imperméables pour le climat normand. Localisation idéale pour échapper à la canicule. In fine excellent souvenir .

Charmant

Très agréable petite maison bien agencée et bien équipée. La propriétaire est très serviable et réactive. Grand lit dans une superbe mezzanine ! Seuls bemols l'odeur d'humidité dans la salle de bain (le temps était très humide) et la cheminée difficilement utilisable sans insert.

Very nice

Lovely compact house in beautiful nature surroundings. Atmosphere is very homely! Which was great as the weather was not so good. Nice lady, Brigitte, lovely dog and some horses. It is a great setting and very calm. Location is very good! I recommend it for sure but it needs some attention: The couch is more like a very uncomfortable love seat and not very nice when the weather is bad. The chairs are not very comfortable too. Showering in the bath is perfectly fine when there would have been a shower curtain…. Now is was a real challenge to keep everything else dry. Some attention is needed to have the cob webs removed. It lacks a television.

Lovely Little Cottage in Normandy

Charmingly converted half timbered barn in rural Normandy. Ideally situated at the end of a quiet country lane, with lovely views, and well placed to visit the nearby towns of Honfleur, Deauville, Rouen and Caen. A warm welcome from the friendly and charming owner.

Perfect hideaway in the heart of Normandy

The place is even more quiet and romantic, than it looks on the pictures. We spent more evenings on our roomy terrace, than we initially intended. Sitting there on spacy grounds in a rural idyll, looking at an old oak-tree, which seemed to be composed by a painter beside an old, normannic farm-house, was simply too beautiful. At the same time, it was easy to walk to the village in about 1,5km distance. The village is small, but nice and well maintained. In the one and only restaurant, you can eat meals from Pizza to french meals for decent prices, with a nice view on the old church. We where also happy with our choice of location, because it is in a good strategic position to reach a lot of interesting places on the coast as well as inland easily (f.e. about 22km to Deauville and other interesting places on the coast). It does'nt even take long to some highways, that take you to more distant destinations of interest, if you like. We don't know why, but there was often no Maut at all, or a a very low one of 2 or 3 Euros. The region Calvados has a lot of beautiful gardens, castles, ruins, villages with nice markets (brocante as well as other things). Other places of history as the landing beaches, a lot of museums etc. are also easy to reach. Our conclusion: The Pays d'Auge is a very nice and interesting region. And every day we happily looked forward, to return to our charming barn, which was well equipped with everything you need. Our very nice and friendly landlady Brigitte was always at hand, when we had a question and took care, that also the kitchen had everything in place, so that we could cook as if we where at home. And so we felt. Thank you Brigitte.

Ländliche Ruhe und Frieden im kleinen Häuschen - Tiere rundum

Maritim dekorierte ausgebaute kleine Fachwerkscheune auf dem Land. Pferd, Pony hinter dem Haus; Katze und ein freundlicher Hund schauen auch mal vorbei. Wer Ruhe und Stille zum Abschalten sucht findet beides hier. Etwas weniger (der wahrlich hochwertigen) Deko im WZ würde helfen die eigenen Sachen zu verstauen. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, französische Lektüre en masse vorhanden. Wir wurden mit Cidre und Keksen begrüßt, Brigitte half auch gleich mit Informationen. Schönes bequemes Bett auf der großen Galerie, Küche, Bad mit Badewanne (ohne Duschvorhang) und WC unten. Wunderbare Aussicht von der Terrasse auf eine alte Eiche und die hügelige Landschaft. Versorgung durch Läden in den umgelegenen Ortschaften.
