So cute! Super safe and beautiful area. Loved how spacious the house was. Bed and sofa were very comfy. The kitchen set up was perfect. Water pressure in the shower was almost too good :) Highly recommend!

It was a great little space. Very clean and comfy. The only issues were the motion sensitive lights went on frequently throughout the night. Otherwise it was a great experience!

An incredible property next to one of Bonners spectacular historic homes. A converted carriage house is modern, tasteful and has minimalist vibe that allows the gorgeous surroundings to take center stage. Modern bathroom with a deep soaking tub, a large deck with a view of the mountains, river and wildlife. I wish I could move in. Everything you need is here to relax and unwind.

This place is like heaven on earth. We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and were sad to leave.

It was perfect, comfortable, river viewMy first morning having coffee on the deck, mamas and baby deer checked me out and then big daddy buck showed upIt was a perfect place for catching up with my best friend of 40 plus yearsI lived in Bonners Ferry off the grid for the 70s And spent almost everyday with my neighbor friend When we meet it was like we were never apart, and the deck on our cabin overlooking the river was the perfect place for catching up
Big daddy visited while i was having my morning coffee!!!!

Lovely Place

This was my second stay. Everything I need for a work trip in Bonners Ferry. The view of the water and the honking decending evening geese is so precious.

We weren't allowed to stay. The host tried to send us the check in instructions which we never received on our end. We got to the guest house and through the help of other guests who are staying in a different building but on the same property. They helped us get the phone number while we called and text while we were on the property. No response to any of the communication we treir to get a hold of someone and tried to let them we didn't get any instructions on my end. Yet no one responded until we left the property. We waited for over an hrs hoping we got some answers. After 4 hrs later we got home then we got the text with the code to get in to the guest house which it wss to late. What are they expecting us to do yo wait outside in the 90 degree heat and not knowing if we get a hold of someone. We don't know what the inside building looks like. Can't say much. But the communication between host , care taker and us was not professionally appropriate. If we tried to explain we get no message in our inbox on my end why didn't those people do their best to respond our calls and text? Poor poor customer service. Ruin our plans. We would love to do more site seeing the area if we would allowed stay.. we end up went home with so much disappointed. Our get away turn in to a 4 hrs on the phone with the Vrbo representative.

Surprise!

We did not end up staying at the property. There was an electrical issue (outage?). There was no power in the house. It was clean and ready for us, just did not have power. Thankfully, our host acted quickly and put us in contact with another host who had a property available (a small miracle on a holiday weekend). All in all, I feel like our host handled the problem quickly and got us taken care of. We appreciated that.

Unready residence

The place was beautiful but it looked as if nobody had been in it in some time. Dead flies and debris all throughout the space. That caused me to check the bed, there were dark hairs in the sheets. We didn’t end up staying, although the host attempted to get a cleaner there that evening. It was too late.

Studio in Bonners Ferry

Property was situated near to a busy railroad and trains, along with their whistles that were activated at a nearby road crossing, ran regularly all night long. This should have been disclosed in property description as it definitely had an impact on our ability to sleep through the night. Some basic amenities were missing, only had one coffee cup, no toaster, no wine glasses, no broom or dustpan (we would clean if provided the tools), and no fire extinguisher. The appliances were great and all functional, great set of kitchen knives and nice silverware for four people. Overall the kitchen was well stocked with everything to prepare a meal. There was a great deck to sit on and enjoy the fantastic view, unfortunately there was a wasp nest in the soffit (host was notified) and they kept attacking us so we could not utilize the deck very much. Property would benefit from a couple more chairs to sit on to watch television which was not visible from the couch. Overall a nice place, just needs a few things to make it great.
