"This is a perfectly situated small hotel right in the old part of Lyon, steps away from all the shops and restaurants, and a short bridge walk away from the city. We were with our teenage daughter in a family room, and it was spacious and lovely. The staff was also wonderful. The next time we're in Lyon we'll be back."

"Beautiful hotel located atop the Fourviere over Old Lyon. Gorgeous lobby, common spaces, and restaurant/courtyard. Staff are also attentive and very kind. The room was excellent as we received an upgrade to the Loft, which was incredible. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well equipped, and certainly more space than I knew what to do with"

"The Rhonexpress Tram from the airport stops right at the front door. The Metro and SNCFstation are behind it. So transportation in and out was a breeze. Very comfy beds. Great breakfast. Lovely shower."

"The room was very spacious and had excellent air conditioning. The shower was appropriate sized (vs those tiny tube sized showers in most of Europe). We did not hear others around us and slept well. We took advantage of the valet parking and truly appreciated that. We were able to easily walk and venture into Lyon from the location and felt very safe in our surroundings. The pillows were incredibly flat so I recommend asking for more. Easy fix"

"Lovely property near lots of boulangeries and restaurants. Loved the nespresso in the room for first coffee in the morning. Very walkable. My room facing the courtyard was less noisy than my parents’ which was facing the street. "

"The staff at Hotel Alexandra was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a wonderful area on the Rue Victor Hugo pedestrian street, which is within walking distance to most sites of interest. The breakfast by Arus is excellent! Overall, a delightful stay in a lovely city."

"It is exactly what you expect from a 2 star hotel. It does what it says on the tin and it does it fairly well. You are warned about the staircase situation, granted. This being said it is ludicrously difficult to manage with luggage. "

"It’s a good little hotel with very clean and affordable rooms (at least off season). The older gentleman staffing the desk during the day was very friendly and helpful. The location is quite central to see the old town though just a tad far to walk from a metro station with luggage on cobblestones or narrow sidewalks. "The hotel was beautiful, the staff were friendly but they did not offer us any kind of service in terms of things such as a shuttle in or out of town, there were bikes in the foyer but they did not offer or explain them to us. They did not show us around the hotel or show us the spa or restaurant. There were a lot of people working but they mainly just smiled and greeted us and asked us about our day, they were polite and friendly but not much more. "

"Bon hôtel avec confort et chambre spacieuse. La salle prévue pour les jeux est super . Tout fonctionne hormis le flipper cassé par des clients 😅. Propreté top.
