Quiet tropical cottage with river access, wildlife, serenity, in Bonita Springs near US-41 giving you convenient access to area Spring Training Center and Coconut Mall as well as Miramar Outlets. It is in the center of some of the best beaches, Fort Myers Beach, Barefoot Beach, Bonita Beach, Lovers Key State Park and Golfing. We also have bikes, kayaks and beach equipment.Watch local wildlife the private dock. A pool screened in, has a table and chairs area, and fabulous river view. In a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac, walking distance to grocery stores, short drive to beautiful beaches and golf courses, or grab the bus just 1/2 a block away to Lover’s Key State Park.
Master bedroom with a queen size bed and a 2nd bedroom with twin beds. Maximum of 2 guests. No overnight guests.There is access to the backyard and dock/river.
Right on the Imperial River, which will take you right to the gulf!
Grocery stores close by include Publix and Fresh Market
Several golf courses close by, including Bonita Fairway which is within walking distance.
Nearby is Bonita Public Beach, or Barefoot Beach State Preserve, view exotic birds, tortoises, and other local wildlife, beach combing or kayaking, you’ll find there is something for everyone. Many family friendly and upscale restaurants close by, our favorites are Coconut Jacks Waterfront Grille.

We are on-site and take care of the property and may be seen tending to the yard.

Very nice hosts, easy to work with, low key, great location, very private, enjoyed sitting by the river, seeing all the birds. Very clean, close to everything. Very nice area to walk, bike or run. Close to old downtown Bonita Springs.

Graduation getaway

My friend and I were visiting relatives for a graduation over Memorial Day weekend for 5 days. We thoroughly enjoyed the property! Treetops was so cute as an in-law type 2nd floor apartment over a usable garage. Loads of flowers, tropical plants and trees, fishes, birds and even a cute bunny visited. Don and Kathy were very accommodating. We even used their kayaks for a tour of the canal and creek that theyback onto-gorgeous and fun!A perfect getaway from the rush of the city!!

Girls trip

At first we were a little put off because we did not understand that the owners lived onsite ( the listing mentioned that they would be seen onsite tending to the property). The vrbo is towards the front of the house and the owners lived towards the back where the easy access to the pool is located. Every morning we could smell them making breakfast and coffee. The owners were both very nice and accommodating. The property is beautiful and full of wildlife. Don helped us put the kayaks in the river and took some pictures for us. They had plenty of beach supplies and activities to do (bikes, kayaks and a dock to fish from). The vrbo could use a little souring up but over all would visit again.

Retirement Vacay at Tree Tops

The cottage was just as described. Was comfy yet homey but beach decor made you realize it was vacation time. Karen & Don we're great hosts. Good communications and hospitality plus! The property was inviting with ponds and wildlife to enjoy. Beautiful pool to relax on off beach days. We tried to the kayaks but only saw a few ducks and fish. The patio down by the river was awesome to watch the boaters and wildlife including Esther the rabbit . It was located on the end of a quiet street making it the perfect spot to getaway.Hope to visit again!!

Down By The River

Nice place and hosts. Pleasant spot next to Imperial River. Saw many birds, fish jumping and even dolphins swimming up from the Gulf. Close enough to town center, restaurants and grocery to bicycle there. Bikes provided.

Absolutely loved this property!!!

Best vrbo I have had! We were greeted by onsite owners and given a tour upon arrival. Cottage is full of island style decorations and outdoor areas are full of bird feeders and yard decorations. We saw almost as many birds as at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Ideal place to stay if you are a nature lover and Karen & Don couldn’t be more accommodating

Peaceful, nature focused, with lots of amenities.

Wonderful hidden getaway with lots of greenery and other natural features. Loved sitting by the river watching all the birds & wildlife. Upon arrival, Karen gave us a complete tour of the amenities and beautiful areas on the property where we could relax. Both Karen and Don were attentive and responsive. The property had everything we needed: comfortable beds, easy drive to the beach, close restaurants and attractions, plus quiet relaxation in nature.

Loved it

Enjoyed the location, the privacy, and the beauty of the VRBO. We also enjoyed the cozy living quarters. Sitting out on the dock on the imperial river, we enjoyed the birds, the flight path of ibis and Heron’s, and saw at least 10 manatees swim by. This was a highlight as we are nature lovers! The owners were very accommodating!

One week stay at Tree Tops

Lovely stay at this apartment, there are 2x short flights of steps to get into it but once in, it is a very comfortable place to stay. There is everything you need, a proper kitchen with oven, hob & microwave and fridge freezer plus washer and dryer in the garage.The location is great, very quiet but close to shopping and not far to the lovely white sands at Barefoot Beach, perfect base to explore the area by car. Bikes and kayaks available for the adventurous. Sitting down by the river is so relaxing, lots of wildlife to look out for. We saw manatees, iguanas, herons, ibis, woodpecker, jays and lots more birds and even a turtle while out on the river in the kayaks.Things to do in the area; we can recommend Captain Jacks Airboats at Everglades City and a sunset cruise with Naples Princess at Tin City, Naples. The nearby Buffalo Chips was our favourite eatery.Last but not least Don and Karen are great hosts, thanks for having us!

Very cool spot to stay

Although it was more of an apartment attached to the main house, it was private with a back entrance and way into the garage below where the washer and dryer were. We used the kayaks on the Imperial River where we saw a small pod of manatees! They were so close, we just stayed there watching them in awe. My husband is a fisherman and fished off the dock a little and we saw a lot of birds. The location is quiet and close to a few different beaches and close to Naples, where did some shopping and fishing. It’s also close to Lover’s Key where we saw a dolphin 20 ft away in the kayak. There is a pool and hot tub, but we spent most days discovering the area, we were there for a week. Karen and Don were very nice and full of information. I would definitely recommend it.

Pleasant stay at treetops

The property was quiet and peacefull with river access and plenty of bikes and kayaks for adventuring. The apartment, which is attached to the main house has its own entrance and felt secure and was simple to access for those that can climb stairs (not for wheelchairs or those with mobility issues). While the pool and hot tub were in an enclosed linai, the pool was murky and seemed like it might not have the right chemical balance. For this reason we did not want to risk a bacterial issue and made the decision not to swim. Not having a safe pool definitely lowered the value of this property. The inside of the property was also quite dusty, which was surprising given the high $250 cleaning fee. We really enjoyed our kayak adventure, but the access to the river is quite rustic and we got very muddy trying to get in and out. Overall a pleasant stay and a calm and serene environment.

Tropical paradise

This was a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The home is very close to activities and the family we came to visit. The property is beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. It’s even prettier in person. I would love to stay again.

Cute Two Bedroom Apartment

If you are looking for a quiet place away from crowds and noise, this is the place to stay. I loved how cute the property is and the owners are very nice and helpful. They are there if you need help but otherwise you don't even know they are around. The place is perfectly located to make day trips to Ft Myers, Sanabel Island, Marco Island etc. I would definately stay here again if I am ever in this area again!

Relaxing stay

Enjoyed our week at Treetops Riverfront. Great central location to all the beaches yet quiet at night. Very clean. Close to shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed the amenities, fishing off the dock and the wildlife. We hope to return.

Peaceful retreat away from a busy life!

Don and Karen are amazing hosts. They were always available for questions. We used the kayaks on the beautiful river. We were in the middle of a pod of manatees for about 10 minutes! We enjoyed the pool even more than we thought we would as it was the easiest and fastest way to achieve total relaxation! The accommodations were perfect and so much quieter than renting from a large condo assoc. We will be back to this beautiful slice of old style Florida heaven! Rick and Karen
