Welcome to our Home.
Our brand-new apartment is located in Bologna’s vibrant downtown, in Via Marconi, just 12 mins away from the main square “Piazza Maggiore” and 10 mins from the train station (by foot).
Both contemporary and cozy, our apartment offers comfortable spaces for your stay featuring a large living room, a fully furnished kitchen with bar counter and dining table, three bedrooms and two complete bathrooms. At a rare height for the city centre, from the 7th floor (out of 8) you may enjoy a wonderful view towards the North, East and West sides above Bologna’s characteristic red roofs. You will be delighted by the romantic sunsets from the West balcony during Spring/Summer time, 100% sure.
The big windows in all rooms together with the three sides view guarantee natural lightning and smooth breeze difficult to find in the city centre. The living room will make you feel at home, with full bookshelves, a snugly couch and a large TV. The kitchen and dining area are the perfect scenario for your meals, either if you are up to cooking (including oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine) or simply ordering delivery food. The two bathrooms are complete and large enough, you may choose between a relaxing shower or a bubble bath in the tub after your long day through Bologna’s porticos and alleys. There is high speed wi-fi (optic fiber) in all rooms, that will easily allow for remote work and/or movie streaming.
The apartment features three bedrooms, including a king-size double bedroom, a queen-size double bedroom, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. Each bedroom has comfortable mattresses, bedside tables, a wardrobe, and a storage bench. Regardless of the number of guests indicated in the reservation, the apartment will always be entirely available to guests (there are no locked rooms or bathrooms).
Based on the number of guests booked, bed linens and towels will be prepared. To ensure your expectations are met, please indicate your preferred bed type at the time of booking. Generally, if you do not provide advance notice, the apartment will be arranged as follows:
- - 2 guests  1 double bed
- - 3 guests 2 double beds
- - 4 guests 2 double beds
- - 5 guests 2 double beds + 1 single bed
- - 6 guests 2 double beds + 2 single beds
Via Marconi and the neighbourhood around is full of shops and points of interest. In less than 5 mins walking there are 3 supermarkets (PAM, COOP, Aldi), 2 Pharmacies (“Farmacia Sant’Anna” and “Farmacia del Porto”), 1 Gelateria (“Delizie della Riva”), ATMs and several cafés/restaurants, among other stores. Within the same distance, you may visit the MAMbo – Modern Art Museum of Bologna, the Lumiere – Movie Library of Bologna and a small green oasis at “Parco 11 Settembre”. You may also experience the local market of fresh bio food (fruits, vegetables, bread, diary, etc) as a genuine “Bolognese”, available only on Saturday mornings at the Lumiere square. The majority of buses that goes through downtown stops at the bus stop in front of the building entrance (“Piazza dei Martiri” and “Marconi” stops).

My number one priority when traveling is a clean and well maintained property. The Marconi Skyline unit in which we stayed was immaculate and recently remodeled, plenty of room and up to date appliances. It is also well located within easy walking distance to all tourist attractions, the train station (10 minutes) and several highly rated restaurants. AND, Stefano is a great host/operator. He is very communicative, responds immediately, anticipates questions and recommended great restaurants. If you are traveling to Bologna, I highly recommend Marconi Skyline for your lodging needs.When traveling in Italy as a tourist one pays a local city tourist fee/tax. If you stay at a hotel, this is charged at check out. I found the payment process a bit confusing. Is it possible to just include this fee in the daily rate?

Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay during our short trip to Bologna. The apartment is within easy walking distance to attractions and restaurants. It was nice to return to air conditioning - it was very hot during our visit. Supermarkets were only a short walk away as were some very authentic Bolognese restaurants - we expecially enjoyed Trattoria Valerio - reservations recommended!

Great Spot!

We had a wonderful time at the Marconi Skyline apartment. Stefano was communicative and helped quickly with an issue we had with the air conditioning. We liked the location as the Bologna Central Train Station was less than a 15 minute walk. We found some great restaurants and did a traditional cooking class one day. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful apartment in great location

Modern, stylish and well-appointed, this apartment makes for a comfortable visit. It's in a non-touristy neighborhood, but a comfortable walk to the historic center and train station. The bus is easy to use, with a stop in front of the building. Two great supermarkets are each a 5-minute walk away. The host was responsive, helpful, and quick to answer questions and respond to concerns. Emilia Romagna is a wonderful place to visit.

This is a wonderful apartment in a great location. It’s in the business district so a lot less touristy than other areas. There’s a great coffee shop right outside the door and only about a 10 minute walk to the Metro and about a 15 minute walk to the city center where there are some amazing restaurants and shops It’s very clean and you can tell Stefano takes pride in his investment. Stefano met us upon arrival and he was great at answering any and all questions we had and was very helpful with recommendations. He even left a bottle of wine and a large bottle of water as a welcome gift. The apartment is stocked with everything you need including dishes, dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo and body wash. He also leaves a “booklet” with instructions on how things work and where things are located. There’s also a PAM grocery store right down the street for any food or convenience items you may want.

This 3 bedroom unit is the place to stay in Bologna for a small group. Clean, modern and well appointed. New appliances, comfortable beds and great showers.The unit is close to the main train station and a 15 minute walk to the city's main Piazza.Stefano was a very helpful condo manager even helping us order a taxi.The food and history of Bologna is amazing. Wonderful Property & Wonderful Holiday!

This apartment is so CLEAN and welcoming. Our property manager Stefano replied quickly to our messages on the VRBO app, and was quite professional and welcoming with instructions and information to help us. As a family of 4 adults and 1 kid, we had plenty of room and plenty of supplies and towels for our stay. I have been renting through VRBO for several years and I highly recommend this property. Bologna skyline

Condo on the 7th floor with a panoramic view of Bologna skyline. Bologna truly deserves the epithet “red” as that is the dominant color of the city as seen from above. Condo extremely well positioned in the old city center. Everything was within a 15 minute walk. Our host, Stefano, was extremely gracious and helpful. The apartment was beautifully appointed, lacking nothing. Would return in a heartbeat. Grazie Mille.

Viva Bologna!

A 3 week stay in this amazing city and amazing condo. The apartment was extremely well appointed and slept 6 older adults comfortably. We walked everywhere, never needing a bus or taxi. 15 minutes to the train or centro storico or the university. We ate in often because we so enjoyed the market experience and the kitchen had everything to allow for some pretty extravagant cooking. Not to minimize the eating out experience around every corner. Stefano was a perfect host, checking in with us to see that our needs were met and giving us great suggestions for enjoying Bologna. A most memorable stay. To be repeated. Grazie Mille, Stefano!

8-night stay in June

Look no further! This is the place to stay at in Bologna! The apartment is as spectacular as the photos show. It's clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, well equipped, and in a great location! It feels like a home-away-from-home with the added decor and real plants in the living area. The windows have electric room darkening shades and the entire unit has air conditioning. The train station is a 10/15 minute walk which makes for a perfect location if you plan to take day trips via train. Our group of five went to Venice, Florence, Lucca, and Milan during our eight-night stay at the apartment. Cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, and Caffitaly store (pods for the very convenient espresso maker in the kitchen!) are within a few blocks of the apartment and the main piazza is also within walking distance. The host, Stefano, is responsive and very kind. He made sure we had everything we needed before we arrived and checked in with us during our stay. My family and I highly recommend this apartment!

Great spot to explore Bologna!

My family (toddler, 6 year old, two parents in their 70’s, and two spouses) stayed for five nights. Stefano was a responsive and gracious host, willing to assist quickly with any questions we had about the space. The apartment is located in a vehicle restricted zone, which means it was very easy to walk to major sites in the city. We found a grocery store within a 5 minute walk, a park for the little ones 3 minutes away, and still were only 15 minutes to many major sites to see (or less, our toddler liked to walk instead of ride the stroller sometimes!). The apartment is very tastefully furnished, and we found the cookware we needed to make many meals in (who can resist the amazing markets in Bologna!?). Our children adored the jacuzzi tub, and we found the shower surprisingly spacious for a city as old as Bologna! One other note: one of our guests uses a manual wheelchair, and the flat worked out quite well for accessibility. There are a set of about 10-15 stairs to enter the lobby, but there is a stair lift that can be accessed if you reach out to the host. Then there is a traditional elevator to go to the 7th floor. I side the apartment I found all doorways and furniture arrangements spacious enough to easily navigate (the chair is 29” wide). Our only issue (of no fault to the owner) was one day the stair lift was not working. The building supervisor had it repaired within the day, but be aware that you may have to bump up (or down) some stairs if you choose to stay.

Great place to stay!

We are from the United States. This home was perfect for our family. It is very clean and has everything we needed. Location is a manageable 10 minute walk to train station which was very important to us. Bolognia is central to several other cities in Italy that we wanted to visit. Each day, we just hopped on train to another city and came "home" each evening. Grocery store is within two blocks. Coffee shops and restaurants are also within walking distance. Safety did not appear to be an issue as we walked in the area day and night without a problem. I would stay here again. Thank you for giving us a stressfree place to stay while we visited beautiful Italy.
