"The location and house are spectacular. We had plenty of room for the 10 people who were travelling together. The site, however, had many mechanical issues which were not responded to as quickly as needed. We arrived at 4pm to find the place with no heat, and with two emails and one phone call didn't receive assistance until 10am the following morning. "A lovey 3 night stay at Peacock Cabin. The cabin was beautifully decorated/furnished. In between the unfortunate bad weather, the surroundings were amazing with views of animals from each window and endless views. "

"Tucked away is this little hidden gem. So much more superior to what we were expecting. Lovely touches such as Welsh cakes, bottle of wine, fresh eggs and treats for our dog. The cooking facilities in the kitchen are much more than you’d expect in a rental. The shower is huge, powerful and warm. Access is via the garden (which is shared with the attached property (The Duck House). Peafowl and hens freely wander around. I definitely recommend and it’d be my first choice when I next come...

"Main bedroom smelt of damp, paint peeling off walls in all rooms. No wall cupboards in the kitchen and all lower cupboards full so nowhere for food storage. Very good, comfortable beds and bed linens. Everything well presented except for the paint flaking and damp smell. Blinds needed in sun room for privacy as a gardener appeared with no warning. Nice private, secure garden area for the dog however you couldn’t just open the door and let the dog out as it was a separate area. Couldn’t contact...

"The property was lovely, although the fridge veg draw had been left dirty. We were left some nice food items. Comfortable accommodation. The accommodation states dog friendly, but there is a notice in property to say they are only allowed in main area. If we had known this before booking, we would not have chosen this place. "

"Amazing location and views. Couldn’t be better. Perfect for two adults or family with young children. A few things needed sorting but housekeeping book available to leave note. Some little additions would make it perfect, for example, mirrors and shelves, maybe some more hooks but a lovely little property. We had our dogs with us and they enjoyed the garden."
