"Amazing experience"

"The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, and parking was easy"

"It's a Red Roof, so I don't expect frills. Room was clean. The AC unit in our room kept cool but didn't seem to pull the humidity out. Fridge was handy, the breakfast very limited. Only gripe I have really is the center door, which is supposed to be secure, was not operational. So anyone could gain access to the building."

"For the price I would have preferred to stay in a motel. The staff were kind but I did have some problems with the actual property: I found a chicken bone in my room, the shower water was lukewarm at best, and my room smelled like smoke. All the furniture and facilities are very worn and not like shown in the pictures."

"The hotel wasn’t perfect, but we had a quiet time during our long weekend in the Leesburg area. The hotel was a quick drive from everything that we wanted to see and eat. The room was comfortable, which was the most important. The pool area was good. The cleanliness of the halls was oddly off. The free breakfast was skippable. There are so many good places to eat nearby, you should definitely skip the hotel breakfast."

"Very nice staff. The rooms are ok. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. It’s interesting because synthetic foods seem to be what corporate executives believe is OK for all of us not staying in luxury hotels. I didn’t know they could make fake fried eggs but that’s what they serve. Hilton hotels offers the synthetic breakfast for marketing purposes so the can charge a little more for the rooms."

"Parking was not terrible, but most spaces are behind building. The staff was helpful for this visit and happily corrected a billing error from our previous visit. The room was clean and breakfast was the standard affair - small selection of hot breakfast, waffle machines, oatmeal, and a selection of cereals. Will stay here again on our next trip this way"

"Our host, Olga, made our experience an excellent one. It is a beautiful home and well maintained. Even though the house was fully booked with other guests, everyone was respectful. Olga makes great breakfast, which we love."

"My daughter and I stayed at Landdown resort for 2 nights. We used the pools and ate in 2 of the restaurants. Coton and Rye was hit and miss. Our first meal was great, but the second dinner was not. To be fair, tbe resrt did comp my meal and I was grateful. The pools were adequate, but could do with some upgrading."

"I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience."

"When I arrived a barefoot man shuffled out to check me in . Did not offer a key. Gave me a room right near the door. Was very creepy. I did not stay"
