"Our room was clean and the breakfast was terrific. Super friendly front desk staff. My only complaint is the gathering of smokers outside the door on the side of the hotel and the noisy leaf blowers late at night when they were painting the lines in the parking lot. That could have been better timed."

"We stayed for our 34th anniversary 2 days ago and found Lisa and her mother lovely, accommodating, and pleasant. Lisa had come from Colorado and had only been the owner about 2 months but one would never know that. It was perfect! They even allowed our Colorado daughter ( who was attending her 25th u of va reunion) to have brunch with us the morning we left. Hot tub, jacuzzi, beautiful room, friendly and helpful owner…. What was there not to like? Ty, Lisa! We shall be back!"

"The Holiday Inn in Ruckersville is farther outside of Charlottesville than I would normally stay when visiting that city, but was necessary due to a concert causing all the rooms closer in to be booked. It was convenient to the main route into the city on 29, provided a very clean room and acceptable breakfast. The pool was outdoor and so not yet open at the time I visited."

"Just ok. Upon arrival we discovered fingernail clippings on the bathroom sink, dust & hair inside the dresser, mold in the bathroom, couch was falling apart, had a strange odor. House keeping didn’t come at all during our stay, even after I requested a clean. The maintenance man knocked on the door and then automatically entered while we were inside the room- which is a safety concern especially when traveling solo with two kid, the dishes in the cabinet had food stuck on them, a pregnancy test...
