4.5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, 2 Kitchens, 180 degree views and a 'Man Cave'

This is a "Family Friendly" House. Great for socializing. There have been far too many 'multi-generational' parties and celebrations here to count.

The HOUSE features:

- UPPER (Main) Floor has Three Bedrooms, Two Baths and a bonus Sun Room we call the 'lady cave' that has a reading chair and futon couch.
- LOWER (Ground) Floor is a separate Studio apartment with its own private entrance and is complete with full kitchen and full bath. We have it set up 'man cave' style with two TV's, a pool table and hide-a-bed.
- Panoramic, almost 180 degree views from the main level. You can see from Point Reyes in the South all the way through Bodega Bay, Doran Beach and Bodega Harbor to the North.
- Easy five (5) minute stroll to Doran Beach. You arrive at Doran Beach on the South end where to the left are the rocks and tide pools (at low tide) and to the right the full two miles of the beach.
- Full Southern exposure in the living room, dining area, kitchen, and Master bedroom.
- Large rear deck with seven (7) person hot tub, patio table and gas bar-b-que.
- Private rear yard behind the deck - we believe that is one of only two in the entire subdivision. Great for a little quiet time or for those of you traveling with dogs.


Our GOLF COURSE SUBDIVISION neighborhood features:

- Public golf course. Bring your clubs and play the course known lovingly as 'The poor man's Pebble Beach.' But call ahead and try to get a morning tee time so you don't get caught trying to play in the afternoon winds.
- Public restaurant and bar called the 'Bluewater Bistro.' Just a short walk withing the subdivision from our place. The views are great, especially from the bar.
- Public playground for the little ones. Next door to the bar and restaurant.
- Easy walk from our house to the beach. About 5 minutes.

The house was built in the early 1970's and we love that vibe as well as the family friendly vibe mentioned above. Some recent upgrades and the dates done:

We had a wonderful time at the house. The owners communicated with us and made the stay perfect! The Man Cave was the perfect hangout! The location was amazing!

We enjoyed our stay. The ocean views were gorgeous. It was fun to walk to the nearby bar for a cocktail. Kids had fun with the arcade game. There was enough space in the living room and kitchen for everyone to gather.We would stay here again.

Yes, the ocean view was fantastic. Several steep stairs to get into the house. There wasn't a home guide at the house and we had to reach out to the owner to get the guide send electronically. We enjoyed the hot tub. That said, not sure how the house could sleep 12; there are only three bedrooms - a pull out couch in the sunroom and the man cave should not be considered bedrooms. While some aspects of the house are being updated; other areas are in need of repair/updating (the ice maker; kitchen cabinets; outside deck; front deck chairs). Despite this, we had a wonderful time being together.

Imagine the embarrassment when you arrive to discover that in spite of the listing being a 4.5 bedroom, it is only a 3! There is a non insulated area with a futon and the rec room had a couch that was too short to sleep on. I think this is what they consider the other 1.5. So we utilized 2 inflatable mattresses that deflated during the night.The host was super communicative. I do wish there was an instruction binder as a previous reviewer mentioned.The location was amazing.Very well stocked house, Man cave was a fun addition.

Great house with lots of amenities. Also had a pool table and a video game console. Good location with an excellent view of the sunset when not foggy. Our family had a great time and we would stay there again in the future.

The description of listing was deceiving. It actually had 3 bedrooms, not 4.5. The inside was dated and the kitchen cabinets needed some paint. Well stocked but,disorganized. .

The views were amazing and the house was enjoyed by everyone from the grandparents to the grandkids. Hosts were great with excellent attention to details and clear instructions. The kids had so many things to do in the house everyone was busy having fun. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back hopefully soon.

We had an amazing time here! So much so we're hoping to reserve it again with a few other friends to enjoy. Host was very quick to respond to any issues. The game console was great as was the game room downstairs. The online manual wasn't sent to us, but the host sent it immediately upon request and was very informative and up-to-date. We enjoyed our stay however, the house is a 3 bedroom with some extra sleeping areas. Comfortable for the couple and children. Not comfortable for 4 couples. The house is dates but survivable. The views are amazing. Kitchen has nearly everything you need and it workss. The pictures are old and the furniture is not the same.

A house binder would be nice explaining what was expected on checkout. Directions on how to turn off parental control on TV. Detail the description of the hight of bath & shower, (they need Balance bars). The two cement steps should be colored or high lighted to prevent tripping. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Just pointing out some possible improvements.

The house has lots of games and cooking supplies you will need. Hot tub was nice. The location is perfect. You can walk to the beach. I would not count the women’s cave near the hot tub as additional bedding to sleep. It looks like people have been using it for their dogs to sleep. However, there is more then enough space to add air mattress on the floor. We had a great time. And the property is perfect for a large family or group of friends.

The property has amazing views and is in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and golf course. Plenty of space for a family to spread out. Teens loved the pool table and retro video game. Excellent hosts with detailed instructions to facilitate a great stay!

Our family really enjoyed everything about the house. The kids loved the pool table and the arcade game. The adults loved the view and the ease of using everything in the house. Also, thanks to the comprehensive handbook we received before checking in we learned about the easy walking path down to the beach and the incredible tide pools! We can’t wait to book our next stay!
