Pool Fitness Golf Access - Walk To Wilson Village - Last Minute Fall Escapes

Please note that this house comes with access to the Canoe Club Pool and Fitness Facility, the Moreland Pool and Fitness Facility, and Wilson Lawn and Racquet Club for $25 per person per day (children under 5 are free). Please also note that there is no pool access Memorial Day weekend, and Fourth of July week. Golf tee times can only be secured day of and will not be available during certain times of the year.

For those who love the water and want to stay active, a typical day might begin with a boat ride over to Daufuskie Island, all arranged by Outside Palmetto Bluff, to explore the rustic side of the island and perhaps spend some time at the beach. If you want to get your adrenaline going perhaps tubing on the May River is more your style. For anglers, the waters in and around Palmetto Bluff are perfect for fishing. After arriving back to your home base, relax on the porch with a cocktail while dinner is prepared. The set up of this house, with a large separate kitchen, is perfect for private chefs. We can provide you with recommendations for chefs who can cook everything from low country bbq to vegan cuisine.

Perhaps you are more of a landlubber, in which case your typical day might involve a morning bike ride through the River Road Preserve to Moreland Village for lunch or a late breakfast at the Canteen. Afternoons at Palmetto Bluff are perfect for brushing up on one’s skills at the Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club, which is a short walk from the house. If the morning’s ride has tired you out, then you might enjoy a massage at one of the nearby spas or simply reading a book down by the river. For dinner you may want to explore the restaurants in Old Town Bluffton or Savannah. We will provide you with recommendations upon booking.

THE WATER SPORTS CENTER, RESTAURANTS, AND THE INN ARE ALL A SHORT WALK OR BIKE RIDE FROM THE HOUSE. PALMETTO BLUFF IS A BIKER'S DREAM AND THE MAIN BIKE TRAILS IS LOCATED AT THE END OF THE STREET. GOLF CART AND BICYCLE RENTAL CAN ALSO BE ARRANGED THROUGH OUTSIDE PROVIDERS. THE RESIDENCE IS THE PERFECT HOME BASE FOR ALL YOUR ADVENTURES IN PALMETTO BLUFF.

Activities that are also available:

-This home has access to the May River Golf Course - Please inquire at the time of booking. Fees vary based on the season and all non-members MUST play with a caddie. Tee times cannot be procured until the “day of”. NOTE - no advance tee times will be available during the month of April all tee times must be made same day.
- Bicycles and golf carts can be rented. Information for rentals will be provided once booking is received.
-Water sports, including boat trips can be arranged through Outside Palmetto Bluff. Kayaks and paddleboards are available for an extra fee and can be arranged with Outside Palmetto Bluff.
-Tennis courts cost $35 per hour to reserve. Daily tennis clinics are also available for a fee. You can book directly through Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club.
-Trail Rides at Longfield Stables may be available for an additional cost BUT must be booked NO MORE than 24 hours ahead of time. No same day reservations are available.
-Daily housekeeping can be arranged if requested. Rentals of more than 2 weeks come with a complimentary "freshen" up clean, which is NOT a full clean. If you would like a full clean that can be arranged for an extra fee.
-Home chef on request.
-We are available to assist with helping you to plan your vacation.

A NOTE ABOUT PETS:
-While I do adore animals, I have extremely bad pet allergies. Pet dander poses a major health issue for me. So, I cannot make any exceptions to the no pet policy for pets of any size or type. For those who also suffer from pet allergies, this is the house for you! I do not have a pet and I do not permit pets. Please do not inquire about an exception to this rule.
