They advertise this property as "Luxury retreat". This house couldn't be farther away from luxurious. Yes, the house itself is beautiful, even breathtaking, but the lack of maintenance in the outdoors spaces make their facilities absolutely useless. There is a serious infestation of spiders. They are literally on every chair, table and counter, and no one does anything about it. They charge hotel rates, yet pay only 1 person for the maintenance of the whole property. This business requires a professional cleaning crew to be on top of it every single day. We tried to use the barbecue and spent our time and our own wipes to remove the thick spiderweb from the chairs and table, only to realize that the amount of live spiders underneath was impossible for us to clean, at least not without being bitten. We talked to the property manager and she didn't do anything for us. We had to move all our stuff indoors. I paid 500$ for 2 nights, hoping to find that Luxury retreat they promised, but found ourselves in a disgusting space. Also, I paid the highest rate for the Lakeview room as they advertised it as the best view in the house, but the whole view is obstructed by a huge tree.
They have 5 indoors fireplaces but no one is in use, I asked the lady but she said there is no gas.
The breakfast is a joke for the price they charge.
I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.
