This chic mountain escape includes extra sleeping accommodations with two cozy sleeper sofas. Ideally located just 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay, and within 30 minutes of McCaysville, GA, and Copperhill, TN, it offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience.

• Toccoa River Tubing – A peaceful float down the scenic Toccoa River. Rentals and shuttle service are available through several local outfitters.
• Lake Blue Ridge Marina – Rent a boat for the day and explore the lake. It’s a great way to enjoy the mountain views from the water.
• Lily Pad Village – Great for families! Try gem mining, mountain mini golf, and fishing.
• Blue Ridge Scenic Railway – Ride the historic train to McCaysville and stand on the state line between Georgia and Tennessee.

Enjoy blooming wildflowers and scenic views on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Don’t miss the Spring Arts in the Park festival on Memorial Day weekend.

Summer
Perfect for outdoor adventures like hiking, tubing on the Toccoa River, or boating on Lake Blue Ridge. If you’re visiting in July, catch the festive Downtown 4th of July Parade. You can also pick blackberries and blueberries at Mercier Orchards and enjoy a tractor ride through the fields.

Fall
Famous for its stunning fall colors! Drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway or visit Mercier Orchards for apple picking, cider sipping, and fresh apple cider donuts. Check out Blue Ridge Arts in the Park and head to nearby Ellijay for the Georgia Apple Festival in early October.

Winter
Cozy cabin season! Take a nostalgic trip to the Swan Drive-in Theater, hop on the Holiday Express train ride, and snuggle up by the fire. Don’t miss the Fire & Ice Chili Cook Off & Craft Beer Festival over President’s Day weekend—featuring chili tastings, live music, ice sculptures, and local beer, cider, and wine.

3. Pet Policy:
• A $75 pet fee applies per dog and must be paid prior to check-in.
• Failure to pay the pet fee in advance will result in a $150 charge per pet.
• Undisclosed pets brought onsite will incur a $150 fee per pet.
• We welcome up to two (2) dogs, each weighing no more than 50 lbs.
• Cats and certain dog breeds restricted by our insurance policy cannot be accommodated.
• Pets are not permitted in the hot tub

4. To enjoy that amazing view, guests will need to drive up the mountain—about 10 minutes from the main road. There are two routes available: Joann Sisson Road or Lucius Road, both off US-76 West.

We’ve tested both and highly recommend Joann Sisson Road. It’s fully paved, easier to navigate, and far less stressful—especially for those unfamiliar with mountain driving.

Look for the turn onto Joann Sisson Road off US-76W, marked by a large “Welcome to Cherry Log Mountain” sign at the entrance.

5. The property is easily accessible via a paved road. The driveway does have solar lights but I recommend arriving while it’s still daylight to get acclimated to the drive.

2. To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the home and surrounding area, we kindly ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM. Sound can carry easily in this serene mountain setting.

3. While we want your stay to be both relaxing and memorable, our beloved cabin is not intended for parties. Out of respect for the property and our neighbors, unauthorized gatherings may result in immediate cancellation without refund. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

4. If small events are allowed: We’re happy to consider intimate gatherings such as baby showers, family birthdays, or other quiet celebrations. However, all events must be pre-approved in advance. Please share the details—including the number of guests and duration—for consideration. Large parties, loud gatherings, or disruptive events are strictly prohibited.
