Or go inside play pool, ping pong, games, watch a movie on one of three smart TV's, on your laptop w/ our WIFI or... the 100" projector! Did I mention central… air and heat? Check. Location? Check. 12 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. Livin’ is easy… access cuz you want enough gravel to tell you’re in the mountains, but not so much you need tire chains. Secluded but not remote cuz what’s livin’ w/o cell service to brag? So stop waiting, bring your dog(s) and start L I V I N.

We had a lovely stay at this cabin and truly enjoyed our time as a family. The inside was very clean, and the king bed was especially comfortable. We loved being able to have a fire in the fireplace, it made the stay feel extra cozy. I also really appreciated that pets are allowed without a size limit, which is a huge plus for families traveling with larger dogs. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.There were just a few things that could make the experience even better. The kitchen was missing a large pot and baking pans, which made meal prep a little challenging. Outside, it would be nice to have small side tables near the front porch swing to set drinks on. Our kids were excited to use the paddle boat, but unfortunately it wasn’t usable due to a missing rudder for steering.A quick check of the yard before guest arrival would also help, there were a few items left outside like a towel, socks, and some light trash. Additionally, just a heads up for future guests, the neighbor across the pond was not very friendly. We had an uncomfortable interaction after a log accidentally rolled into the water and he demanded that we get it out while is was raining outside (we did not).Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely consider staying here again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! It was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with gorgeous surroundings that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the trip.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Blue Ridge!

Absolutely a great house and a fabulous stay!!! Very relaxing and a wonderful retreat for the holidays. Only suggestion get there during the daylight....it's really dark on the mountain at night.....took us a hot minute to find it.....:)

PERFECT for a short getaway from the city to reset. Cabin has all the amenities but still feels rustic. Clean and comfortable beds. LOVED waking up to have our coffee on the dock by the pond.

The place was cute and cozy! We stayed inside mostly since the days we were there it was pretty chilly. There was lots to do to keep busy. Relax in the hot tub, play pool or even watch a movie. We loved it was pet friendly, and we were able to bring her. There was plenty of essentials for us to get through our stay. We plan on staying again in the summer so we can enjoy the outdoor activities and amenities.

This cabin was amazing. It was everything the listing said it would be. There were movies available for the theater, smart tvs to log into your personal accounts, rafts available for the lake, a hot tub for relaxing, a pool table for games, the list goes on. We would book this cabin again in an instant. The host was almost immediate to respond to us if we had questions. The beds were very comfy!! There were many things provided that I didn’t expect like spices, shampoos, laundry tablets, a plethora of kitchen utensils. It was fantastic.

The cabin smelled really bad! We bought candles to try to cover up the musty smell of pet pee and mildew. The refrigerator leaked the whole time we were there and when we contacted the property manager we were told to keep a towel in front of it to soak up the water. The ceiling in the basement was full of water.

Cabin met our needs. However, the furniture is old & dated, the water toys were very dirty & the firepit is a mess. It was full of trash & the seating around it is very old, weathered & uncomfortable. The gravel road to get to the cabin is ROUGH..right off the bat, we got stuck & luckily, found a neighbor to help us get out. The hot tub was nice, the beds were comfy & although it wasn't perfect, we had a great time relaxing & enjoying time with our adult children

We really enjoyed our family time of connection and unwinding. The house is as pictured. No one was brave enough to go into the green oily pond, but we had great time fishing and reading on the deck, playing pool and watching a couple of movies. We did have some ants, but that's not unusual in the mountains in the summer - we did find it unusual that there was no ant spray left and we had to purchase some and kitchen needs a cookie sheet. Overall, a super time and host was most responsive.

Both positives and negatives

POSITIVES: beautiful setting, secluded, lots of water activities, peaceful, pool table, ping pong, good communication with owner and property manager. NOT SO GREAT: First of all the pictures are quite deceiving. They make the cabin look bright, spacious and shiny, making it seem more modern than it is. In truth it is very dark and older and musty. To be fair, there had been a month of torrential rains so that could have been part of the mustiness. We had acute sinus problems from this and had to leave for several days and ended up leaving a few days early after coming back. It was disappointing because of the amount of money we spent. My husband ended up in urgent care due to something he was allergic to at the cabin. The hot tub was not working until our last few days but was very enjoyable for the 3 days it worked. . We had an ant problem but, again, was probably due to the rain. If you want an older, rustic cabin on a lake, this may be enjoyable for you. If you think you’re getting the shiny cabin in the pictures, you may be disappointed. We come to the north GA mountains every year and have stayed numerous places. As beautiful as the lake was, and as much fun the kids had on the lake on their one day visiting, we will not stay here again.

Lakeside Retreat

Our stay here was very nice. The guys enjoyed fishing from the deck and we girls enjoyed sitting in the swing. Location was close to activities we had planned for while on this little get away. Bit of a rough road to reach the cabin, but it is in the mountains, so to be expected.
