What a lovely peaceful cabin! Very comfortable and clean. The porch/deck was so nice and had amazing views! Super helpful customer service prior to stay. Bring parchment paper for oven since no aluminum allowed. Great access to hiking and all the local Blue Ridge activities. Thank you for a relaxing trip!

We generally enjoyed our stay at this property. The views were great, and it felt a bit like being up in a tree house surrounded by trees.There were a few minuses, though. The cabin seems quite old, and it is showing its wear. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are not up to current code, and they are steep with narrow treads. I would not recommend them for elderly folks or small children. There is no dishwasher. We planned to use the grill, but it would not light, and we could not find any matches.Also, the drive up to the property takes about 15 minutes from the main road. It provides seclusion and quiet, but the road is very winding, quite steep, and is one lane only. I would not recommend this property to people who are not used to mountain driving.

Mountain Stay

The drive up to the cabin was rough, but we got used to it after a couple of days. The view and screened porch is the best part of the cabin. I had to empty the dryer of towels and clean out the lint tray as the cleaning lady did not do it. Outdoor shower was unusable as it was full of leaves and very dirty. Porch could have been swept. Jacuzzi clean. The king bed is upstairs. The shower was tiny and was added and not in a bathroom, The bed was very squeaky. Linens are poor. We had trouble with the cable. Channels would show a "snow" screen frequently. WiFi good. There is plenty of wood, so don't buy on the way up like we did. Very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I wouldn't stay again in this cabin, but we had a great time.

Quick getaway to Blue Ridge

Great location, easy to access, ample parking, quiet area. Loved having the trail directly behind the cabin and checked it out the very first day. Gorgeous view from the cabin.
