If you're looking for a getaway loaded with fun and family memories, you found it! Skiing or snowmobile riding. Hiking, kayaking, fishing, hunting or ATV riding all awaits you. Blue Jay's nest is professional decorated and will provide all the comforts of home during your stay. The 3 acres of land, furnished deck and a large fire pit are all perfect for your private getaway. The fully equipped kitchen will allow you to create delicious meals for your family. The lower-level bar and family room will allow for large groups to entertain. The gaming room was created with the perfect night of poker in mind. We loved loved loved our stay at Blue Jays in Somerset! We were blessed with a week of beautiful snow and the whole family had so much fun. The Perfect Getaway

We recently stayed at this property for a long weekend and it’s the ideal spot. This is our second year staying at the house and we have always been impressed with how meticulously kept the house is. Anything we could want is supplied for us and it’s exactly what we need for our purposes!

Space to Play

We were in town for a memorial service and turned the trip into a mini vacation after finding this place. It was near tons of hiking and parks including lakes and rivers to swim in. 30min or less in any direction we found ourselves in open spaces or small towns. The grounds on the property were perfect to spend all day outside and the house offered comfort to wind down. Host was easy to reach, very helpful and accommodating.

January Birthday Weekend

Our family had a great time at Blue Jay’s Nest in January. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was a perfect for ski days at Hidden Valley and Seven Springs. The property manager quickly responded to all of our questions. I highly recommend Blue Jay’s Nest.

Hidden Paradise

The Blue Jay’s Nest exceeded any and all expectations we had coming into this trip. The house was immaculate and had every amenity we could wish for. We were particularly impressed with the little details in the house that were thought of for us- for example, shampoo, conditioner, and soap in every bathroom, plenty of toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, toys for the kids, night lights, etc. we are so grateful for the use of your home, and we hope to make this an annual vacation for our family!

This is an amazing property, inside and out. every amenity possible with lots of room! We enjoyed the fresh blueberries, firepit, expansive yard and deck, and the downstairs family room with dartboard. everything was exactly as pictured. we would stay here again for sure.

Spacious Family Getaway

This was a perfect family get away location for all things in Laurel Highlands. Each family had plenty of space with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The yard is spectacular for children and dogs. It has a well equipped kitchen and we loved the vibe of the home.

Peaceful, quaint secluded location

Peaceful, quaint secluded location, but close to hiking trails, restaurants and stores. Enjoyed relaxing around the outdoor fire pit. Great place for a family gathering!! Enjoyed seeing the momma deer and her two babies on the property. We all enjoyed our stay!!!
