Cozy bungalow home with LOTS of space. Modern decor throughout, fenced in yard, 1/2 mile from uptown. Location is a guest favorite for waking to uptown to dine and shop. Bath towels, linens, pillows and mattresses are all new, chosen with 'comfort' in mind

Location, atmosphere, decor, comfort and Seasons room are guest favorites!

Location -
Walking distance to uptown for dining, shopping, events. Walking distance to The Constitution Trail, 45 mile of hard surface throughout the Normal-Bloomington area. Great for walks, biking, rollerblading, dogs. Beautiful scenery

Atmosphere/Decor/Comfort -
All modern yet cozy furnishing throughout the house. Total of 6 smart tvs, streaming Hulu, Netflix and Amazon. High speed internet, blue tooth speaker in the family room, new light fixtures and ceiling fans in all rooms, many candles and fireplace light with remotes. Very comfortable blankets and pillows throughout the house. All beds are memory foam, Tempur-pedic and cooling pillows in the rooms, down filled futon/couch in the unfinished basement bonus room,

Seasons Room -
Large dining table, 2 deep seat down filled couches, 70" smart tv, sound bar, remote candles, pac man gaming, lots of privacy as Seasons Room has an open view to the backyard/patio. This room also has it's own air/heat unit

All bedrooms have queen beds-
2 bedrooms on the1st floor, 1 bedroom

Kitchen, Laundry Room and Bathrooms are stocked. Kitchen is stocked for cooking and dining. Bathtub/shower upstairs. Shower in basement has detachable handle (good for showering pets and toddlers). Plush bath towels . Bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, Laundry room has plenty of supplies.

Park -
The elementary school is on the same street a few houses down, great park for climbing and swinging

Games -
Corn hole, board games, puzzles, books, cards as well as bad mitten can be found in the basement storage room. 4 cruiser bikes in the the shed that guest are welcome to use to explore the area.

Long driveway holds approximately 4 - 5 vehicles. Parking on the street is allowed on the opposite side of the house. If you are traveling with a dog, please inform me prior to check in as there is a pet fee of $100 per dog (max 2 please)

This was our second time staying here and again we loved it and had a fantastic time. All the amenities and supplies took care of all of our needs. The location is great and perfect for small groups to hang outside when the weather is on your side or inside with a large gathering room with a large table and TV. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this house for almost any group. I’m guessing we’ll be back again soon.

What a beautiful gem of a house! I loved the different tiers of space. 3 living areas was perfect. The beds were super comfy and the back yard was so peaceful. Coming from the city with airplanes, L train, and highway noise, this was just a dream come true. We moved our son into ISU without a kink, and being so close to campus was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property, amazing host!

I have so many wonderful things to say about this property! From the start, Donna was wonderful to communicate with! We stayed from Friday and Sunday and it was the perfect spot for us. Great location. Beautiful home. Tons of space. Essentials stocked. Fun extras. We had room to spread out, and then room to come together for a nice family weekend. The kids espscially loved the arcade game, and the hanging chair/hammock outside! We enjoyed playing games and relaxing in several wonderful spaces throughout the house. I cooked all our meals in the kitchen for the weekend. Not having to buy spices/oils was a simple touch that really helped make the weekend that much easier. The property had everything we needed and more! We absolutely plan to stay here again when we're back in town!

Spacious and welcoming

We had a wonderful time at Donna’s property. The house is close enough to campus but still tucked away on a quiet street. There’s tons of room and available amenities. The backyard is large and beautiful. The kids spent most of their time outdoors running free. Communication with the host was fast and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Great space for family and friends

We had a fantastic stay at this thoughtfully designed home in Normal! The location couldn’t be better, just minutes from ISU, making it incredibly easy to get to and from camp at ISU. The house makes the most of every inch of space, with beautiful décor and a layout that feels both cozy and functional.The kitchen was well-stocked with spices and essentials, which made cooking a breeze. Our kids especially loved the variety of games provided, such a nice touch that kept them entertained during downtime.Donna was great to work with throughout the process: answering questions before our stay, giving recommendations for siblings not attending camp, as well as during our stay.

Absolutely wonderful

We arrived a little earlier than check in time, I messaged Donna and I was able to check in early. The house is beautiful, the decorating was amazing. It was clean and cozy has everything you need. We use Vrbo at least four times a year in different locations. This was the best Vrbo house we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely be back.

We chose Donna's home for a birthday party where we needed room for more people than I wanted in my own home. The house is so cute and was perfect for the party. Donna was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will hopefully use this home again in the future.

IWU Parents

This is quite possibly one of the BEST VRBO experiences we have ever had. The house was so lovely and well appointed. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and the location to IWU was great. Donna was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We can't wait to return!
