Here you’ll find the 15th-century Milton Abbey. The wider surrounding area features Blandford Forum (8 miles) and Dorset’s county town, Dorchester (14 miles), which has something of interest for history fans, keen shoppers, and foodies alike. The property is about 15 miles from the dramatic Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, with iconic rock formations such as Durdle Door and an abundance of sandy beaches to explore, perfect for coastal walks and relaxed days by the sea.

Enter this charming single-story barn conversion via outside steps, and make your way into the open-plan living room and kitchen, a sociable space with a comfortable sofa which can be converted into a sofa bed, to sleep one a Smart TV, and everything you need to prepare hearty meals. The main bedroom is inviting and restful, with a king-size bed as the centrepiece and an ottoman bed suitable for a child. The well-equipped bathroom offers a shower over the bath and WC.

Take a dip in the indoor heated swimming pool (booking on the day of use is required) or relax in the sauna, there is a small gym. Relax on the balcony or explore the farm, during your stay, you can meet the donkeys, ducks, goats and other friendly residents, helping children and adults alike feel part of farm life, and even arrange encounters with alpacas or Shetland ponies at certain times of year.
