Secluded Cottage in Heart of the Snowdonia National Park

  • Es una gran cabaña de piedra ubicada en un bosque privado en las colinas sobre Maentwrog. La casa ha sido renovada y amueblada con simpatía. Tiene pisos de madera y pizarra, y una gran estufa de leña en la sala principal (calienta radiadores y agua caliente). Está rodeado por una gran área de jardín privado parcialmente vallado con una mesa y bancos para comer al aire libre. ACCESO: la cabaña está a 3/4 de milla de la carretera a lo largo de una pista que se encuentra en lugares empinados, estrechos y ásperos. Es aceptable para todos los automóviles (excepto los modelos deportivos de baja altura) y no es adecuado para conductores desconfiados. El cruce ferroviario limita el ancho / largo de los vehículos a las medidas estándar de la camioneta de tránsito. Hay escalones hasta la cabaña.
    La casa está alimentada por electricidad de red y eólica y solar.
    La tierra circundante domina el Valle de Ffestiniog, uno de los valles boscosos más bellos y mejor conservados de Gran Bretaña. Es una excelente área para caminar, observar aves, andar en bicicleta de montaña y nadar. Un lago para nadar y una parada de solicitud de Plas Halt del ferrocarril Ffestiniog están a poca distancia a pie.
    El pintoresco pueblo de Maentwrog con dos buenos pubs está a dos millas de distancia. La ubicación de la cabaña a 10 millas de las playas de arena de Harlech al sur, y a 10 millas de Snowdon al norte la convierten en una base ideal para explorar Snowdonia.
    PROPIETARIOS DE PERROS: le damos la bienvenida a dos perros en la cabaña de Hafod; traiga ropa de cama, toallas y asegúrese de que su perro no vaya con ningún mueble. IMPORTANTE: No se debe dejar a su perro en la cabaña sin supervisión.

Such a gorgeous secluded cottage. So peaceful and just what we needed to a relaxing time away from everyday life. Definitely would recommend and hope to visit again someday

Richard and Noelle were very welcoming. The cottage was nicely tucked away and full of charm with an interesting history. Lovely walks on the door step much enjoyed by the furry members of the family! Perfect, everything you need for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle.

Our family had an amazing week at the cottage. The place was a very decent size and very cosy with the large log burner lit. The area is very special with miles and miles of woodland and mountain walks directly from your door. Great views and even a steam train you can walk to. There are great beaches around 15 minutes away and the Llyn peninsula and mountains of Snowdonia are a short drive. If you like the outdoors I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. The hosts were very nice too.

Sehr schönes Haus mitten im nirgendwo. Also perfekt für uns, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und ein paar Wanderungen mit unserem Hund zu unternehmen. Die Anfahrt ist schon ein kleines Abenteuer, aber es lohnt sich.

Beautiful location off the beaten track

The cottage was just what we were looking for, lovely and peaceful location in a beautiful wood with fabulous walking on your doorsteps. The cottage was comfortable and clean. We would certainly stay again.

Beautiful Hideaway

We loved our stay at this quaint little cottage. The dogs adored all the space particularly. It's a basic property but that's all you need if you're the sort of people who want a getaway from it all holiday with plenty of outdoor activities, which we did.

Secluded and comfortable

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well furnished including a well-equipped kitchen. The immediate setting is very secluded and peaceful.

This beautiful stone cottage is a peaceful escape nestled among the hills and lakes of the Welsh countryside.Cozy and full of character, it features a roaring fireplace, rustic charm and all the comforts you need for a relaxing stay.The surrounding area is perfect for scenic walks from gentle lakeside strolls to more adventurous hill hikes.It’s a heaven for nature lovers and anyone seeking quiet and calmA truly special place to unwind.Highly recommended We are definitely coming back

Wales for the first time

We really enjoyed the quiet and the location, also the neighbors (3 cows) were very symphatic. Ideal as a base for walks in the Snowdonia area. Also the shopping and eating possibilities (eg Porthmadog) are not far. Overall a very nice week and very nice hosts.

Einmalige Lage, wunderschönes Cottage

Wir haben hier eine wunderbare Woche verbracht. Die Lage des Cottages ist einmalig! Ruhig, im Grünen, man hört nur Vögel zwitschern, schaut auf wunderbare Natur. Und das Cottage ist so liebevoll und schön eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein schönes Haus mitten in der Natur, mit allem, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nur wenn es heißt, die Zufahrt ist ein Abenteuer, so ist das für die letzte Meile auch ernst gemeint.
