"Clean, still trying to find my perfect room there, close to the elevator is on the noisy side. And being from the West coast, 11 am check out is 8 am to me, that sucks when you are on vacation! They graciously gave me a later checkout (noon/9) it's an old place, I love it there, but it has it's problems, lost heat and hot water last stay in April, they are still running on a back up boiler, I expect they will be shutting down for repairs soon. Also found out that the property is for sale"

"Lovely rooms and decor. Very thoughfu touches, including water in the rooms and snacks. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety. The host was so accomodating. "

"It is a fairly well maintained inn, quiet, with an appropriate continental breakfast. Good coffee. There is a lovely diner seconds away within the same compound that serves an excellent breakfast"

"The hotel is obviously a low cost hotel, but it is in dire need of updating. Hallway carpets were pretty gross looking and the room didn’t even have a closet (it had a door for a closet, but only a pipe inside the door with nothing to hang clothes on). Lights would flicker and come on slowly when you’d turn the switch on. The AC worked but not very well. But it’s quiet and cheap, sufficed for a quick overnight stay for a wedding."

"This is an older hotel near a lake, so the hotel was as expected a little lake-ish. Outdoor area is nice. Picnic tables, fire pit are along the lake, dock is closed off but they did have 2 paddle boats sitting there, however I did not ask about these, so I am unsure if you can use them. "Great location. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kids loved playing in the indoor pool."
