Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, personal y instalaciones y estado del alojamiento
I stayed at Park Regis on Friday 11th July, a one-night stay booked by my partner as a birthday treat. While there were some positives, unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
On the plus side, the hotel was clean and well-presented, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. These aspects were appreciated and helped create a good first impression.
However, our stay was let down by the quality of sleep. We were given Room 1101, which is positioned directly beside the lift shaft. After returning late from an event, I was hoping for a restful night, but from around 7:30am, the sound of the lift going up and down became constant and disruptive. I wasn’t able to get back to sleep and started the day feeling tired and frustrated — not ideal on what was supposed to be a relaxing occasion.
I shared this feedback with the hotel, and while they responded politely, they incorrectly stated that I had booked a standard room and recommended upgrading to a Deluxe or Executive room next time. In fact, I had booked a Deluxe Room. When I raised this point, they stopped responding, which I found disappointing and unprofessional.
A good night’s sleep should be the bare minimum expectation when staying in a hotel. While the service and cleanliness were good, the layout of the room, the lift noise, and the lack of proper follow-up from staff meant that the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations.
Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend Park Regis
