Greenwood At Entangled Acres - Log Cabin w\WiFi on 16 Acre Animal Sanctuary

  • The house is split into two beautiful mirror image apartments at ground level with separate entrances, both of which are used for guest stays. (Booked separately.) Each apartment has an open living area and kitchen, a full bathroom, a bedroom, and a large loft space which doubles as a second bedroom and also includes an Ikea desk for remote work. This suite includes a washer and drier unit, the other suite does not. There is WiFi throughout the house, including on the porch.

    Guests are welcome to explore the land. There are mowed paths around the meadows, and a wildlife pond near the house.

    The covered porch is huge, overlooks the pony pasture, and faces east. Early risers can drink their coffee while taking in the sunrise over the distant hills.

    I am available on the premises if guests have any questions or need anything during their stay

    Location is also home to a nonprofit animal sanctuary - guests may meet our two ponies and chickens, and learn more if interested.

Labor Day Trip

The property was just what we excepted. It is in a very country setting and close to the sights we wanted to see. The host was very friendly. The place was also very pet friendly. We will be staying there again.

If you want to get away from everything and enjoy some peace and quiet, this is a great place for it! The property was wonderfully rustic with horses and mowed paths to walk though the woods. The duplex cabin is very clean and well kept. Luca, the owner, was super nice, helpful, and attentive when we had questions or needed something. It was a very good experience.

In town for family function

Everything was fine for the most part. Dogs in adjoining areas were a little bit noisy at later hours but that is to expected for this type of property. Host was very accommodating given current circumstances

Leave Your Troubles Behind

Entangled Acres is a beautiful and serene property. Coming from Long Island, this property transported me to another world which is exactly what I wanted. It was just me and my dog who went and the property was a perfect getaway for my pup. She got to meet the horses and play with the host's dogs. Being by myself, I felt totally safe and relaxed on the property. Luca is so welcoming and answered every question I had (which was a lot). This property also acts as a non-profit for the animals who live there and it was amazing learning their stories and see how much they blossomed. I only stayed a weekend but once you set foot on that property, you never want to leave!

Beautiful yet limited

The location is amazing and as described. However, upon arrival hours past check-in the host didn't know I was coming and had yet to provide check-in info. Luca, the host, said she needed 15 minutes to ready things in addition to the "uh, who are you?" greeting. During my stay there were multiple impolite interactions. My favorite was that I needed to drive to town to get dry firewood to run the only source of heat, the wood stove.

Such a hospitable host! And such a beautiful cabin in the woods. Loved the ease of the whole thing. They even shoveled snow from my driveway and walkway so that I could get out easier. They also loaded up my bags into my car because of the snow. Such a great experience!

Luca’s home was warm, comfortable, cozy and clean. My family and I stayed for 2 nights and Luca went above and beyond to show us around and accommodate our needs. My kids loved meeting all the animals and learning so much about them and their environment. I would highly recommend her home to anyone. We’ll be back when we’re back in Owego. Would love to explore her property during other seasons.

We spent a month in the log cabin and at the end my son told me it was one of the best vacations that he had taken. It was a wonderful experience: the cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed, the view was spectacular (october), and the host, Luca, was very welcoming and kind. We would stay there again!

We stayed here while visiting family. Great place to stay. Nice trails for walking. In a great area outside of town. Perfect place for our stay.
