"The air conditioning wouldn’t work in the room and was reported twice and not repaired. A fan was supplied but that just blew the hot air around the room and was very noisy. I understand that problems occur, but this clearly wasn’t working before we were assigned the room. Finally no discount or future credit for the discomfort was offered. The staff were polite but didn’t seem inclined to solve the issue."

"Stayed at the Trivelles Regency in Nottingham and honestly the check-in experience was really disappointing. Both myself and several other guests were told we had to pay a £50 security deposit, despite the confirmation email clearly stating it would only be a £1 deposit if paying by card, and £200 only if paying by cash. When we showed the staff member the email, they refused to accept what was written and still insisted on the £50 payment. For some people checking in, that money was part of...
