"Stayed for 1 night with work. Its a lovely old building with alot of character but the it is in need of a good update to all the corridors, stairs and other areas. The rooms have had an update and look nice though my bathroom did have a smell of stale water and as its in the town centre it was quick noisy to the point that around 5am the bin men woke me up emptying the bins with a loud bang.
Personally I wouldnt stay again but can understand why some people would."

"Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'.
