Walk to the BEACH and close to DOWNTOWN - the perfect location! The Main Suite

  • Ideally situated 1 block to the beach & less than 5 blocks to the shopping/restaurant district, Oak Shade is a meticulously maintained property within easy walking distance to historic downtown Ocean Springs, as well as beautiful Front Beach. Newly renovated, The Main Suite is the perfect place for romantic getaways, as well as week-long family vacations. It features a king-size bed in one bedroom, a queen in the other, a couch that sleeps two, and many other amenities you are sure to love.

    Inside Oak Shade's The Main Suite, you will find a firm, yet comfortable king-size bed with luxurious bedding inside a private bedroom with a Flatscreen Smart TV with Roku, a second private bedroom with a queen-size bed and flatscreen TV, a full kitchen, a spacious living room, and a library/den full of natural light and a fabulous library of books for your enjoyment. The couch in this room converts to two twin-size mattresses for additional sleeping accommodations.

    The bath includes a deluxe standing shower, and plush bathrobes are provided.

    The Main Suite's living room features comfortable seating situated around a large flat-screen Smart TV with YouTube TV and Roku.

    Other features of the freshly renovated space decorated in soothing shades of white, gold, and grey, has key-less electronic keypad entry to the suite, designated off-street parking for up to three vehicles, refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove, dishwasher, glassware, flatware, plates/bowls, mugs, and a coffee maker.

    ***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

    ***There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties of any kind. We have installed exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

    Oak Shade is the perfect place to find comfort, peace, and solace amongst the natural beauty and art-filled community of Ocean Springs. Front Beach can be seen from the property and is less than a block's walk away. The Ocean Springs downtown shopping & restaurant district is 4 & half blocks away and takes about a ten-minute walk.

vrbo is horrible .. however this host went above and beyond to get us the information we needed upon arrival home was perfect for us even with a crawling child the space was clean and anything extra you could think of of was there and available to use don't think we will ever travel to area again without hope and prayers we can book this home!

The best place to stay and a Chris was a great host. Recommend this place for anyone that wants close to the beach and still a walk away from downtown area of food and shopping and pet approved. But I most enjoyed the neighborhood atmosphere as I sipped on coffee on the screen porch area under the shade of big trees, watching local people walking dogs and jogging and a few turtles slowly going by. Everything was well stocked in kitchen and bath..can't say enough about this property

Oak shade is the sweetest vacation rental we have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and everything so convenient. Charm plus with decor! Location close to downtown and the beach was perfect for our visit to Cruisin the Coast week. Would definitely come back!

Great place. We will definitely come again. Close to everything. My only complaint is that check out is at 10am. It’s hard to get a family up, fed, packed and out the door that early.

We enjoyed the stay in the Main Suite. It was the perfect place to stay in Ocean Springs. Everything was supplied in the suite. It was close to everything which made it convenient. It was very clean. Our pup was with us and could go to the beach with us. We will visit again!
