Cozy Guest Cabin Near River, Lake, And Hiking Access.

The Cozy Cabin located at the foothills of both the Swan and Mission Mountain Ranges is only 4 miles East of Bigfork, MT. Our cabin is a perfect getaway for the Montana Explorer, the Swan River known for its pristine fishing and floating is only 1 mile from our location, we have both Loon and Horseshoe Lake within 2 miles, and Flathead and Swan Lake are accessible within minutes. Crane Mountain is plush with hiking and mountain biking trails is just 1.5 miles away. The West entrance of Glacier National Park is about a 45 minute drive away. The town of Bigfork known for its playhouse theatre, brewery, small shops, and eateries are all within minutes.
THE COZY CABIN DETAILS
~The Cozy kitchen is complete with a compact fridge, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, stemware, silverware.
~ 1 Full bathroom, linens provided.
~ Living/Sleeping area 1 queen bed which sleep two guests.
~Large outdoor deck with charcoal grill, beautiful woodland setting.
~ Do you have a little one? We have ALL the baby supplies upon request. (No extra charge, because we know how it is to travel with littles)

Very attentive host! We enjoyed the fun character of the cabin. The queen size bed felt very comfortable and clean. We brought our lab and was so thankful he was allowed. The location of the cabin was easy to find. We came to Big Fork for an event . It was very close to the event and so accommodating and felt very private in the woods. We found Horseshoe lake just a few miles down the road where we enjoyed the serenity there.

The cabin was small but very nice. Has a very nice large deck. It is under pines so you do have to be careful not to get sap on you when sitting on the benches or chairs. Bed was very comfortable and the shower had really good pressure.The Wi-Fi worked great and check in was easy. The kitchen was small, as described. Plenty of dishes but only 1 small sauce pan (with a broken handle) and 1 very used fry pan. The grill is not the greatest, it is an older type and it was full of leaves and wet charcoal & needed a good cleaning. We did not use it. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking on your vacation, I would recommend you bring your own pots and pans. The dishes and cookware were clean except for the sauce pan. The last person to use it did not clean it very well, there was something burnt onto it and it took a scotch pad and some scrubbing to get it clean.(I do not believe this is the fault of the owner, I blame the last person to use this sauce pan). The owners are just next door and are very nice and helpful.

Peaceful vacation

The Cabin was even better than advertised, updates, more roomy than it appear. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was very nice, lots of hot water and really good pressure. But the hosts were so very nice, accommodating, yet did not crowd us at all. They gave us suggestions for fishing, eating out and cool shopping areas. They were so kind to us and our dog Oreo. We would definitely stay here again. Don’t miss out on this one!!

Great outdoor space on the deck

The cabin was a great little place that met all of our needs. It is located in a nice forested area with lots of shade. Nice big deck for hanging out and BBQ. The location is conveniently located. It is a quick drive to the state park on Flathead Lake. The owner was very helpful. It was awesome that we were able to have our two dogs with us.

Excellent except for kitchen

My friend, her dog and I stayed for 5 nights in this cute cabin in the woods. Overall it was excellent! We loved the decor, the giant deck with comfy chairs, the bathroom, the nice bed and linens, the pet friendliness. But just a few suggestions for the kitchen, please: add a kettle, more cutlery, more pots, better use of food storage areas, and a full size fridge. Thanks, Mattie. We’ll be back!

Perfect cozy cabin

We absolutely loved this adorable cabin. It had everything we needed and was so perfectly decorated. Our dog was welcome. The owners live on the same property and are super friendly and helpful. Close to all the mountain biking trails we wanted to ride, it was a fantastic location. Highly recommend!

Cute cabin for two

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin! It was very conveniently located to Big Fork and outdoor activities. Easy check in and communication with owners. It had all the amenities for a comfortable stay for two people. The reason for 4 stars is that the cabin had a bad odor every time we entered. We kept the windows open.

A bit disappointed

We were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness and maintenance of the cabin. There were dead bugs in the bathroom light fixture, and both the tub and sink drain plugs didn't work. We expected it to be "cozy" but there was no place to sit and relax...2 straight-back chairs and a very small table and a small bench at the foot of the bed. Maybe the biggest issue was that either we didn't see it when we booked or it wasn't listed but would have loved to know that it was a pet-friendly cabin. My wife is allergic to cats and some dogs. She had to take double allergy meds for the 4 days there and had some breathing issues. Very unlikely we will use this cabin again.

Cute place!

This place was the perfect little Montana getaway. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio with quiet surroundings. The place is set up with everything we needed and the host was very friendly. Would recommend!! 😁

Peaceful rest

The cabin is what you see. It is small & the kitchen makes heavy cooking a little challenging. However the setting is gorgeous, the deck is big, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area, the bed is comfortable. Most importantly the host was very communicative as our trip neared but then left us to ourselves once we were onsite. We would stay here again.

Cottage near Bigfork

This cottage is as advertised-a small cottage in the woods. It consists of one room which is the bedroom and a bathroom and kitchen. There is a large deck which becomes the main place to hang out if the weather is good as the bedroom doesn't have much other space.

Great stay, great host.

Had a great break from C19. Both I and my girlfriend were tested and cleared to meet. It was great. Stayed an extra day. Our hostess met our needs (extension cable and internet fix-thank you!!). It was a very pleasant stay. Thanks.

The perfect cozy cottage get away!!!

We loved our stay in this very CLEAN and COZY cabin in Big Fork! It was a few miles away from the grocery store and the town of Big Fork. The host, Mattie, was also very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Quiet, private getaway

3 to 4 mile drive to Bigfork, a couple of miles to the Swan River Trail trailhead. Quiet, private. Nice big deck on 2 sides. No bugs! The box spring groans any time anyone moves. Communication with the owner was very satisfactory. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Outdoor getaway

Close to Bigfork, MT and easy access to Glacier National Park, Kalispell, Whitefish, etc. Cozy and quaint cabin with all the amenities we needed for a week of outdoor activity. Shaded so no A/C wasn't an issue; had windows open. Grounds need a little clean up but overall very happy with our 5 night stay.

Cute Cabin

No A/C but a fan was furnished which helped. Would have been better if there was a screen on the front door so that you could get more airflow. All-in-all it was a perfect location. Nice, quite and somewhat secluded with nice privacy. I would definitely book again.

4th of july

Super cute cabin! Perfect for our mini honeymoon. The only con is that we thought it was going to be a little more secluded. Which wasn’t a big deal. It was a delightful weekend. The cabin was clean and had a comfortable bed. The hosts seemed very nice. Pet friendly, and they were even ok with us leaving her alone in cabin while we went to dinner. We got back and lounged on the patio chairs while watching a little firework show. We will definitely be back

Beautiful area

The property was convenient to Bigfork but far enough away to have some peace. It was fairly close to a road but it wasn't an overly busy one and pine trees blocked the view of it. The cabin was very quaint, a mixture of upgrades and not which made it charming. Almost everything was provided if you wish to cook, even aluminum foil! The deck was amazing, breakfast out on the little table with my jacket on was perfect. It was also a great place to practice yoga. I do feel an air conditioner should be installed, especially necessary at night for restful sleeping. A fan was provided and did help immensely but when I was gone all day, the cabin was warm when I returned and took quite awhile to cool off. The owners were very nice, I spoke with them a few times while sitting on the deck. They were not intrusive which was nice since I was there to relax and eat cherries!

Great cabin within very short drive of Flathead Lake, and easy hour drive of West Glacier. Clean, simple, close to town of Bigfork. Helpful owners who will give info/tips for hiking, fishing etc.
